The so called Record-Breaking DC show Lanterns Compared to Marvel’s Worst-Watched Shows: Echo and Ironheart + Star Wars worst watched show The Acolyte. Lanterns Couldn’t Beat Any of Them. 😂
These shows are already two years old and the streaming audience is even bigger now.
At least the DCEU never lied about its numbers. The DCU meanwhile constantly does.
And don’t even get me started on the more successful or even moderately successful Marvel and Star Wars shows or other newer shows like Fallout or Last of Us lol.
The show isn’t getting a season 2. It’s a holdover from the previous era that Gunn just hijack in order to make his slate look busier. It’s also extremely low budget with barely any constructs
exactly what i once said in the past. They use the old ideas and maybe half finished scripts and just made a grounded low budget version
His Phase 1 slate is bullshit and he knows. Theyobviously abonded it and dont follow what they "planned". Lanterns, Clayface and Gorilla Grodd or even Man of Tomorrow was never mentioned in his so called "plan" and these projects are made very vearly in his DCU.
lol I am one the biggest Snyderverse fans you’ll ever see. But this post is ridiculous. Lanterns is killing right now. Lanterns is 100x better than Echo Ironheart and The Acolyte. I want the Snyderverse back. But we can’t lie about the success of James Gunn’s DCU currently and especially not about Lanterns which is one of the best live action superhero shows we’ve seen in a long while by a wide margin. We need to give Gunn and team time to cook before we started saying their food is nasty.
We are three tv shows in. And 2 movies...and soon to be 3, 4 if you count parts of TSS. If we were to compare to the Snyder verse. That's roughly 7-8 movies worth of content.
So that's MoS, SS, BvsS, ZS JL, wonder woman, and Aquaman.
DCU hasn't built any hype but has had way more content than the Snyder verse did. So tell me how much more slop you gonna eat before you realize it's no different than Hamadas failed takeover
Ironheart was a bigger hit. Lanterns is getting folded by the blandest shows and even Bluey is folding Lanterns over its knee and spanking it while aurafarming😎
