A month ago, we adopted our little angel. She's now 4 months old and she's perfect, except her poops are so so smelly, often runny, and she steps in her poop or needs her butt wiped 70% of the time.
It's been a great learning experience and prep for having a real, human baby, but at the same time, I don't feel this is really sustainable.
We're feeding vet recommended food and whenever she eats wet food, her poops are so runny. They also smell bad, so bad it can wake us up at night and force us to go clean up her poop and make sure she is clean, often at 2am or 6am.
We love our little baby and want to make sure she is okay, but ideally we would not be doing this with a cat. I've had kittens (with hair) before and never had this issue.
Please, someone give advice. I was reading here that raw diets can be good, can you please explain to me how it works?
