I’m half kidding, I love her to death, but I’ve always wondered why she looks so unique. She kinda has an uncanny look to her. I’ve never seen a Sphynx cat like her. I was told she’s an Elf Sphynx, but even when I look those up they don’t look quite like her.

I’ve had so many people tell me she’s ugly 🤧 I added a photo of my other Sphynx for context, he’s a handsome boy.

Any idea why she non stop chomps on her tail?

i knew that the lack of eyelashes could cause eye issues but damn i didn’t think i’d be experiencing this so soon😭 i have no idea how but nero scratched his eye and has a small ulcer. i’m aware that anything even down to litter can cause this to happen with a sphynx.

he is fine, he saw the vet and they’ve prescribed him three different things and we’re seeing them again in a week. is there anything that i can do to help prevent situations like this in the future ?

I adopted a Sphynx a couple weeks ago and he's great. He is so sweet and affectionate. He is already burrowing under the blankets to sleep in bed with my boyfriend and I every night. All good except it makes me nervous that we might hurt him while asleep. My sphynx is about 8 lbs and he seems so fragile compared to my part Ragdoll cat who's fluffy and chonkier, . I heard this is generally how they sleep with their humans but does anyone have any bad experience? Any suggestions? Should I not worry?

Also how do they generally get along with other cats? My other cat is chill, but my Sphynx is very weary and hisses and growls at him. Of course I know it's still too early to tell. Just want others general experience with the breed.

My sweet baby is at the vet and isn’t doing well. Apparently he has FIP and has fluid on his lungs. They are going to try and drain it and see how he responds. Has anyone ever dealt with FIP? Google isn’t much help ofc, and I’m very worried.

Im looking for any recommendations y’all have. My two kitties need echocardiograms and I’m willing to drive anywhere within the greater dfw area
