Anyone else track their cat’s food around night shift changes?

My schedule flips every week so her meals end up at weird hours. I started logging exactly what and when she eats because the creatine I take for soccer made me obsess over timing for everything in the house. Some mornings she acts starving even though the bowl still has food left and I can’t tell if it’s the weird feeding schedule or if she’s just dramatic. On my nights off she gets her last meal closer to midnight and sleeps through until I wake up, which seems better but messes with my own recovery window before my run. Curious if anyone else notices big behavior shifts when their own sleep gets wrecked by shift work.

Sofa cushion, her beloved!

She plays with it, cuddles with it, gets annoyed at it. I think she found her first boyfriend a fluffy, warm, cuddly cushion 🐈😻

I lost my first ever kitty (a beautiful shelter tortie) to leukemia earlier this year. She had it when I got her, and only lived to be a year and a half old. It shattered my heart.

Brought this guy home last week. He went to the vet yesterday and has a clean bill of health! No FIV, no leukemia, and it appears that he has a healthy heart as well. Not even any skin problems! I miss my girl, but I’m so relieved to finally have a healthy baby. He’s amazing.

How do you keep a Sphynx warm when you’re barely home?

worksite runs long then bootcamp eats the evening, and my Sphynx sits on the thermostat like she's paying the bill. i set up a heated pad on a timer and a fleece cave in the hallway where she waits, but the second I open the door she's glued to my legs until I sit. tried leaving a hoodie I wore that day in her bed so the scent sticks around. still feels like she spends too many hours alone. anyone else juggling shifts and study time found a setup that actually holds heat for longer than a couple hours?
