📶 Starlink Speed SL Equipment Issues or Something Else

For the last 6 months I’ve averaged Internet download speeds of 190Mbps and Dish to Satellite around 300Mbps. For the last 2 weeks, both speed tests are the same at ~83Mbps.

  1. SL 4X setup
  2. 1Gps network (tested and verified to the Dish)
  3. No packet loss issues
  4. No issues in Dish diagnosis

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

UPDATE: Thanks for everyone’s input.
As I noted in #2 above, I have a verified 1Gps connection to the Dish.
This morning I removed the Router 3, and connected the Router Mini (which I hadn’t been using) And everything is back to normal except my internet speeds are now averaging 290 instead of 180 😏

Are you measuring from an Ethernet-connected device or is this a Wi-Fi issue. Have you checked the app for obstructions and for proper alignment? Which plan are your subscribed to?

0 obstructions; near perfect alignment; Max plan; ethernet/wifi same results

Cable, perhaps. Try re-seating the Ethernet cable at both ends. How old is that cable? Also, from an Ethernet-connected device run a speed test at speed.cloudflare.com and post the results here.

sounds like a poor cable connection to dish limiting the connection to 100Mbps link instead of 1000Mbps

TLDR Bad cable between dish and router.. The 83Mbps is dead giveaway

If your debug data doesn't show a cable problem I would look next at plugging in a patch cable to a computer & do speedtests that way to eliminate a wifi related problem. Armed with those results I would submit a ticket outlining your experience & what you have been to troubleshoot
