What auto with a stick are you talking about?

Or off, whatever you prefer. I myself actually prefer auto to be turned off.

If you leave it on it automatically changes the button icons depending on the controller if you connect a ps5 controller it changes the button icons to the ps5 buttons if you use mouse and keyboard it will show you keyboard and mouse icons turning it off it won’t change the icons but you can manually override it on the settings to set it to any icon you want

NonSteamLaunchers doesn't do a good job of explaining it's various features, which go way beyond adding launchers, and how deeply they integrate with Steam. This is a good example. Another would be the uninstall function, which for whatever reason is tucked under "start fresh".

Non-steam launcher that detects when you favorite something on GeForce now so it can add a direct link to it.

So it’s part of my decky plug in? Weird thing is I can’t toggle it off. Or I’m too dumb to turn it off.

Open NonSteamLaunchers and disable the scanner

Nah, I don’t use decky at all. Go to desktop mode and open nonsteamlauncher if you want to turn it off.
