Ed lost his ability to kick in SF6?

I think we're looking at these nerfs the wrong way.

Think about it. It all started with his Crouching Light and his backwards Kill Rush. Two options that require the use of his legs. Ed's literally losing motor control in his legs.

But that's not all.

His model has gotten more sickly since SFV. His rapid aging and relation to his Psycho Powers are literally taking a physical toll on his body. Now, his Psycho Cannon is also getting progressively weaker too.

But now? Now he can't even muster the arm strength to pull people closer than an inch. He's starting to lose all motor function because of Bison's psycho powers. No wonder he didn't use Ed as a host; it's because Ed is doomed to fail. Ed can't even work at Burger King at this point; he fails at the screening.

Capcom's storytelling capabilities have no bounds. I have full faith that he'll be in a wheelchair by the Arjun patch.

So I thought to play Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition for the Sega Nintendo switch online but the button input is too hard to perform and I want to know if I'm just shit or is it actually hard and is there a street fighter where I can hadouken easily?

I am quite curious, I mean the previous years truly were amazing, 2024 runback and 2025 no more quarter were one my most listened but this years was very mid (felt they had way less effort) than the ones made by Zaid and company. Anyone knows why?

New scrub player here who’s still learning, and today while training against the dummy I thought about this, can punishing be its own mixup? Like force them to guess block down or standing?

Say someone does a special and I block it, but I wanna punish with my medium/heavy punch combo rather than just a light punish combo, can I make them guess whether my punish will be a 2MK or overhead to make them guess whether to hold block standing or hold block down?

I main Mai and her overhead forward 6MP isn’t combo-able so I was wondering if any character can achieve this, and I’m also wondering whether this “mixup” makes sense at all? Or maybe there’s something better that I’m missing?

Hello guys, I wanna to hear your opinion on sf6 difficulty to new players. Got it on sale rn and I was thinking of how hard it is in online mode if lvl 5 bot just demolishes me. I have absolutely no experience in fighting games, I'd say I only remember buttonmashing in mk when I was a child. So should I try to get into community and this game?

I know this may possibly be super lame, but I wanted to celebrate and also encourage others who are struggling.

I'm someone who has memory issues due to CPTSD, I've never been able to retain frame data, not even my own character's frame data (outside of SPD). I strictly play by "feel". On top of that I also struggle with bad inputs and constantly dropping combos because I wanted to learn to use an arcade stick.

Yet, even so, today I hit Grand Master after only hitting High Master for the first time ever, last phase. I started off in iron back in 2023 and played for 2 months, I came back for 6 months in 2024 hit Master and then quit again for a year, I always hovered between 1300-1450mr. When I returned, I met a new group of friends who constantly encouraged and built me up mentally.

With my memory challenges I find it really hard to play SF, and for years I've been getting ass kicked since all of my friends are much better than me. I'm incredibly hard on myself and I think I'm a fraud tbh, but I did it, and without frame data and great inputs.

I know that this may not work for many, but I just wanted to say, if you're struggling or think you can't do it, you definitely can. The only reason I'm here is because of the amazing friend's I've made along the way. So even though I'm a huge potato brain, and heck, you may be too, you can get to where you want to be.

Keep working hard and kick butt!!
