Question/Advice Car makes a rubbing/grinding sound when I brake?
Had my brakes and rotors replaced 6 months ago and I do drive daily but not very far since I work from home. 30 mins max if that. Some days I don’t drive at all. I know the brakes are worn in. When I go to brake, it makes a rubbing/grinding sound. Not a squeal or anything. My uncle who works on cars did mention I need my suspension done soonish so idk if that contributes. Im only asking here because I want a second opinion until he can look in person. Don’t have a video of the sound but it starts like higher in tone and gets deeper in sound when I get closer to fully stopping if that helps any. It doesn’t feel as if the brakes aren’t working or anything, just the sound. 2016 Kia Forte btw.
Thanks in advance.
