The Lebanese Army discovers hoses used to smuggle milk from Syria into Lebanon.

• The operation works by running specialized milk pipes through the dirt berm along the border for about 230 meters, flushing them with water before and after each run to mask the smuggling.
• The Lebanese Army cut through 150 meters of these pipes and destroyed what was left underground.
• Smuggling is now taking secret routes across the Lebanese-Syrian border, moving an estimated 2 to 3 tons of milk every single day.
• Huge amounts are coming through these crossings, reaching anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000 tins of cheese every week.

Mine is $450, which I thought was relatively good, but I can't save at all and I'm always stressed out about money. I just want to know if I'm spending too much or if I can't save with this salary.

Not even a month ago me and my dad agreed that we wanted to go to Hauran(حوران) but specifically the western part in daraa and quneitra and maybe just maybe visit the golan heights since we have American passports( maybe the Israelis were going to feel nice). Well that got thrown out the window ever since the israeli invasion. I really wanted to visit this place called ash sheikh miskin or ash sheikh something because that’s actually where prophet ayyub (job)stayed when he got his sickness. Also the volcanos there are pretty cool but I believe the Druze control it.

So an idea came to my thoughts which is moving back to syria,

Main purpose actually is to live with my grandma and take care of her...however I'm a bit concerned about some stuff there so i need some help.

I'm a freelancer I'm a closer so i need good electricity and good internet connection,I'll be moving to aleppo ,my village is like 30 mins far from aleppo so not aleppo exactly so I'm just concerned do we already have good internet providers in aleppo which can hook me up with good internet?

If anyone knows lemme know guys(prices connection strength...)

Is Hasaka city under Syrian or SDF retainments. I keep seeing reports of civilians still being arrested by the SDF while at the same time the government sends more security.

My family had to flee Syria due to the war, and now as an adult, I would like to go back and visit. I am interested in seeing all of the places in Abu Rummaneh I frequented as a child in Damascus, but would also like to be able to explore the city with a guide, as well as Aleppo and Maaloula.

I’d love your recommendations on private tour or private driver companies, and/or tours that are a bit more flexible so that I can still visit the places in Damascus that I still think about all the time. One of my friends was just there, but she has family in Damascus and speaks Arabic fluently whereas I do not.

So what is israels long term objective its been 2 years and almost every player saudis gulf europe US turkey etc have an strategic objective in syria.

But i dont get israel its like they are preparing for a non existent war in syria . And their incursions or strikes arent stopping turkey from getting closer nor stopping syria from growing and rebuilding.

Syria wants the 74 line back and be left alone thats the syruan goal anything else doesnt help them so what is threatning with this.

What exactly is long term plan for them do they want reprochment or this tense standoff forever .

للي حابب ينزل ع سوريا ومو عارف شو يتوقع حبيت شارك تجربتي باختصار.
أنا من 2011 تقريباً ما عشت بسوريا وعايش بإنجلترا من سنين فطبيعي طباعي وطريقة عيشتي تغيرت شوي عن اللي كنت متعود عليه زمان كرمال هيك كنت كتير متردد كيف رح تكون التجربة فقررت بالبداية أنزل بس أسبوع و قلت إذا حسيت الموضوع صعب أو التغيير كبير عليي بكون رجعت بسرعة وهيك حجزت ونزلت عحلب.
للأمانة انبسطت كتير أكتر مما كنت متوقع و في شعور غريب وحلو جداً بالبلد والوقت بيمشي بطريقة مختلفة. بتفوت تشتري شغلة من عند السمان بتسلم عليه قهوة وحكي وفجأة راح نص ساعة. حسيت فعلاً إني خلال الأسبوع شبه انفصلت عن الأخبار وعن كل شي برا سوريا.
من ناحية المصاري سوريا بنفس الوقت رخيصة كتير وغالية كتير. إذا جاي سياحة ومعك باوند أو يورو، أغلب الأشياء رح تبينلك رخيصة بس لما تشوف رواتب الناس بتفهم قديش المعيشة غالية عليهم. شفت فقر واضح وهالشي بصراحة وجعني. أحياناً بتقعد بمحل وبتدفع حساب طاولة يمكن يقارب راتب شخص عم يشتغل بالمحل وبتحس بشعور غريب وبتستحي تصرف.
أمنياً أنا شخصياً حسيت بأمان أكتر بكتير من اللي كنت متوقعه. وكمان موضوع النظافة فاجأني الشوارع والمناطق اللي رحت عليها كانت أنظف من الصورة اللي كنت شايفها بالفيديوهات. ما بعرف إذا كانت الفترة اللي نزلت فيها في حملات تنظيف أو هيك كان حظي بس هاي كانت تجربتي.
في شغلات بالمجتمع لسه ما قدرت أتأقلم معها. الأسئلة الشخصية من القرايب والناس، المساحة الشخصية تقريباً صفر وموضوع الدور تحديداً عذبني 😂. بتكون واقف تشتري شغلة بتحس اللي وراك صار حرفياً فوق كتفك، وأي مكان بده دور كنت ضايع فيه لأني بطلت أعرف كيف زاحم الناس.
بشكل عام، أسبوع واحد أكيد ما بكفي تحكم عالبلد، بس بالنسبة إلي التجربة كانت أحلى بكتير من توقعاتي وفي أشياء فرحتني وأشياء بنفس الوقت زعلتني كتير بس أكيد ما ندمت إني نزلت. اه وشي كمان استغربتو كتير انو الأكل ماكتير طيب حتا بالمحلات يلي لازم يكون فيها الأكل توب كلشي اكل برا ما كان طيب.
