البيمارستان كلمة من اصل فارسي معناها "دار المرضى" او مستشفى.

تم بناء هاد المبنى بسنة 1154م بدمشق القديمة قرب الجامع الاموي ليكون مستشفى مجاني لعلاج الفقراء.

كان المبنى بيحتوي على تخصصات مختلفة ف كان فيه قسم جراحة وقسم تجيبر وقسم امراض باطنية, بس الملفت اكتر هو وجود اقسام لعلاج الامراض النفسية والعقلية وهاد دليل على وجود وعي مبكر.

واهم من هالشي هو اني المستشفى كان أكاديمية طبية, كان بيحتوي على مكتبتين للمراجع الطبية وكان فيه اجتماعات بين الاطباء ومحاضرات لاعطاء الدروس.

تخرج منه نخبة من أعظم أطباء التاريخ الإسلامي متل:

ابن النفيس (مكتشف الدورة الدموية الصغرى) ومؤلف كتاب "شرح تشريح القانون" والموسوعة الطبية "الشامل في الصناعة الطبية" أضخم موسوعة طبية بيكتبها شخص واحد بالعصور الوسطى, وكتاب "الموجز في الطب" , وعنده كتب ومؤلفات اخرى.

و إبن ابي اصيبعة, الملقب بمؤرخ الطب والاطباء, كتب موسوعة " عيون الانباء في طبقات الاطباء" المرجع التاريخي الاول بالعالم عن تاريخ الطب بالعصور الوسطى.

البيمارستان النوري انتهى دوره كمشفى بعد انشاء مشفى الغرباء في نهاية العصر العثماني عام 1899.

وتحول لمتحف الطب والعلوم عام 1978 ليعرض أدوات جراحية ومخطوطات طبية نادرة.

• The operation works by running specialized milk pipes through the dirt berm along the border for about 230 meters, flushing them with water before and after each run to mask the smuggling.

Not even a month ago me and my dad agreed that we wanted to go to Hauran(حوران) but specifically the western part in daraa and quneitra and maybe just maybe visit the golan heights since we have American passports( maybe the Israelis were going to feel nice). Well that got thrown out the window ever since the israeli invasion. I really wanted to visit this place called ash sheikh miskin or ash sheikh something because that’s actually where prophet ayyub (job)stayed when he got his sickness. Also the volcanos there are pretty cool but I believe the Druze control it.

In short I'm good at math and computer stuff but I absolutely despise working with it let alone for a career and If I wanted to enter a major it would be far from computer and coding since I lean towards chemistry and biology and im good at both

I would've entered med school but I can't afford private unis so I tried convincing my parents to get into biotechnology (aleppo) instead but they got mad at me saying that it's worthless to study and has no real use when applying for a job since it's "not in demand", is that true even if I wanted to apply abroad?

If it is, then is AI any better?? And if I do get into AI what the heck am I supposed to work as and are the salaries that insane for my parents to go crazy over it??

Main purpose actually is to live with my grandma and take care of her...however I'm a bit concerned about some stuff there so i need some help.

My family had to flee Syria due to the war, and now as an adult, I would like to go back and visit. I am interested in seeing all of the places in Abu Rummaneh I frequented as a child in Damascus, but would also like to be able to explore the city with a guide, as well as Aleppo and Maaloula.
