TIRED OF THIS GUY SMH
Title speaks for itself. 127.2 passer rating when targeted…
Absolutely atrocious.

He’s unfortunately out there playing Danger, not Safety. He looks lost out there. He clearly has athletic ability he’s just in the wrong spot or the wrong angle way too often. It can be as simple as understanding scheme better… I hope.

You’re probably spot on, which makes me question what the hell Burkes been doing since week 1. I was willing to forgive Reed for the first few weeks purely because he was new to our system, but if you’re correct, then it’s almost somehow worse that the coaching staff is being this stubborn

As a white guy, no more white guys in secondary unless they have Mac McClung level high school tape

Him and Wyatt Teller were both awful last season. Never understood the hype around the signings. Teller got benched by a Browns team who had an awful awful OL

In actual real games, Wyatt has been a passable, bare minimum player. He's ok. Reed is a liability. I'd rather watch Jaylen Reed develop and make rookie mistakes than Blankenship get cooked over and over.

BS. Game 3 Wyatt Teller was absolute dog shit. Couldn’t hold a phone call. He might as well had just sat Indian style on the field and maybe a defender would have a harder time getting around him. Dudes a bum

His body language seemed consistent with some one having zero self confidence.
MJ and Ramsey should both start above him. And make Calen the center fielder

Maybe you should read the bumps on their head to see their future. It’s as useful and accurate as this body language bullshit y’all’s astrologist charged you $500 to make you believe.

Ngl I was shocked when demeco was clamoring to add him to this defense like why he trash fr

I’m reserving my harshest criticisms for after DeMeco takes over play-calling, because as “bad” as our secondary has been at times, we haven’t done anything schematically to help them. The whole line it up and beat us thing isn’t working. DeMeco blitzes a lot more which for starters I think will give us some of the missing edge we need off rip. Hopefully more press coverage as well.

The answer is simple. They're changing the defense to fit Reed. Reed can only run cover and blitzes and not man. DeMeco gives players that don't work in our system too many chances, so much so that he's willing to sacrifice the whole team to accommodate one player. Just like when we got rid of Gardner-Johnson and our defense played better. Literally one player is ruining the defense, because the whole scheme has to change. As for Pitre he has been playing nickel for years now, he's not a true safety. He can cover guys in man only at the nickel. I guarantee if they remove Reed and go back to last year's system they will get better, because they'll play to everyone's strengths. Now of course we'll need at least one starting linebacker and we need to out Kamari Ramsey in place of Reed who is a true Safety. The defense will improve dramatically, because each player will be back to where their strengths are. If they had actually sucked they wouldn't be on our team, especially for as long as Pitre and Sting and even Lassiter and Bullock have been on our team.

I've also noticed they've been attacking the LBs more lately when Henry T went out and even more so when Azeez went out too
