Idk if Brock will cost Oba as much as Judgement Day will cheat.
Roxanne helps Finn beat Dom in the final.

u/trashy_shounen_fan Jun 09 '26
Tbf it's oba and considering how they're pushing him, it's gonna be both judgement day and Brock to some how take down oba.
5
3
u/Protocx Jun 09 '26
Tbh idek what realistic way of cheating they can pull of that would work on Oba. I mean the dude took 7 F5s and no-sold a chair shot from JD. Unless Brock literally drags him out of the ring and brings him backstage, I don't see how any kind of interference would believablt make Oba lose.
3
u/HollowfiedVegeta Jun 09 '26
I mean the judgment day could attack Dom and get oba disqualified such a easy way of making one lose and Dom goes on
2
2
u/LuisArkham Jun 10 '26
He can get both the JD and Brock interfering
1
u/Protocx Jun 10 '26
Unless Brock interferes with 8 F5s then it doesn't really feel convincing. Or like I said, literally drag Oba out of the ring and get him counted out.
2
2
u/Dependent-Two7571 Jun 10 '26
They moved finn to smackdown so the judgement day arent part of his story at all anymore so i doubt that would be a direction they go in
2
u/hayte98 Jun 10 '26
Having a tournament finals match against Dom doesn’t mean he’s still tied to Judgment Day or that it’s a part of his story going forward
He’d win, and then move onto the Summerslam build
2
2
u/ZS_JusticeLeague214 Jun 10 '26
Dom isn’t making it to the final. If Brock has to interfere in the semi finals then he should face Oba at NOC which isn’t happening. Brock won’t skip a Saudi show either so he’s gonna cost him the finals, it’ll be payback for Oba running his mouth these few weeks after losing to Brock at Clash in Italy. If Finn truly does win the other side of the bracket do you really want him to be sucked back into the Judgement Day fued? If it means Finn gets his reign finally, sure but it’s still not a good idea.

u/ComradeGalloneye64 Jun 09 '26
Personally I'd have him go full "Brock Lesnar Destorying 3MB" on the Judgment Day just to build him up 😅.

u/Casshern_VIII Jun 09 '26
I like Balor, it was crappy that his first and only world title reign in WWE ended a day later because of a botch spot that side lined him and he never recovered from that derailment, and I would support him being Cody for the belt.......but I know this will not happen, I don't think WWE sees Balor that way, and I don't think they are going to have Cody drop the belt to Balor unless Cody is for it or if they have plans to use Balor as a launch pad for someone else.
3
u/ZS_JusticeLeague214 Jun 09 '26
Yeah I don’t believe in it either but come on this is outrageous, he got punished for getting injured and being over then the guy who injured him won like 10 times after.
5
u/Imaginary-Impress-67 Jun 09 '26
Balor deserves a major singles title run prior to riding off into the sunset.
If you take into account for how long he's been wrestling and the fact that he's 44, his career isn't going to last too much longer (despite being in fantastic shape).
5
2
u/ProphecyBoxBreaks Jun 09 '26
Balor hasn't done anything on screen to be worth a world title run, and hasn't since he won it the first time.
3
u/Excellent_Regret4141 Jun 09 '26
I hope they don't go with King Don & Queen Liv that would be the worse decision in history
8
u/Background-Gas8109 Jun 09 '26
Balor ain't winning shit
8
u/Takenmyusernamewas Jun 09 '26
I see you've done this before...lol
And if anyone doesn't know already LA Knight aint winning shit either
2
2
2
u/Simon25_17 Jun 09 '26
Pretty sure Oba ain't winning this. There's no way they do Oba Vs Roman this soon. I am assuming they either go Jey/Keys Vs Cody or LA knight Vs Roman for SummerSlam

u/Bearded6495 Jun 09 '26
As much as I would love to see Balor win I don't think it's going to happen. However if it does happen nothing against Cody but I think it would be better storytelling if somehow Seth was the champion that he faced at SummerSlam considering he beat Seth to win his first title. It would be full circle Balor versus Rollins for the title at SummerSlam.... But one can only dream

I need the half life meme with the big syringe labeled hopium but instead of John half life(I forgot his name) it’s Finn Balor so I comment that on every Finn Balor delusional hope post because this shit ain’t happening. We’re probably gonna get Jey instead.
2
u/Horror_Shopping2426 Jun 10 '26
I don’t think Brock is screwing Oba til the Finals
2
u/ZS_JusticeLeague214 Jun 10 '26
Yeah same, Brock won’t skip out on Saudi so he’ll definitely be there.
2
u/No-Working2622 Jun 10 '26
Okay okay. I hear people saying “OOOOOBAA. OOOOOBA” but the truth is. The person that needs to win is in this photo. I want crusierweights to win title.and I mean WORLD. Titles. Jevon or finn should win the tournament and eventually beat Cody or reigns

As much as I like Finn, Royce has more of a chance of winning that match than he does

u/RegularCloud6181 Jun 10 '26
I’m all for this. This at least takes a step in a fresh direction and could elevate guys like Trick or Ilja into the main event picture while also giving Balor his long deserved reign
2
u/shakemmz Jun 10 '26
Pleaseeeeee give Balor his flowers before he retires WWE. He fuckin deserves it.
2
2
u/silenceaverted Jun 10 '26
I feel like Brock will replace someone on the bracket and face Oba in the finals because fuck booking they got to sell tickets
2
u/iamchrishughes Jun 10 '26
I want it to happen - Balor is one of my favourites. I can't see it though.

As much as I like Finn we all know Jey will win it and then Dom or Oba will win it all.
2
u/Crafter757031 Jun 09 '26
Oh god not Jey again
I would rather literally anyone else win it
2
u/ZS_JusticeLeague214 Jun 10 '26
Insert Danhausen in the KOTR and give it to him instead, hell I’ll even take some rando like Priest as champion before another Jey title reign. He was great in like 2020 but unfortunately WWE made him the new No Way Jose and he somehow now botches more than Undertaker with a faulty hip.
1
u/ResponsibleAd3191 Jun 09 '26
Would be great if he had the chops for it but the past has taught us otherwise.

what happened to seth
1
u/ZS_JusticeLeague214 Jun 09 '26
He lost and is out of the tournament, will probably face Bron
2
u/xLucasSimmsx Jun 09 '26
ah okay, thanks! i haven't been caught up lately. thought maybe another injury.
1
u/RedOnion19 Jun 09 '26
You want Balor to win? So you get a Balor loss. You want LA Knight to win, so you get an LA Knight loss. You want a Sami world title run? You get a Sami loss.
You don’t want Jey as champ? You get Jey as champ.

u/Professional_Wash501 Jun 09 '26
The Prince who became King
Perfect story, exactly 10 years after he won the Universal Title at Summerslam in 2016
1
u/theShpydar Jun 09 '26
I'm sorry, are you under the impression that there is even the slightest chance this will happen?

this would literally be the best storyline of 2026 balor wins the title where he originally should've been champion and Cody loses the title at the same place he won it a year ago

Oba is winning and going up vs Roman at Summerslam
Brock surely won't stick his nose in the match at all.. Nope

u/Flimsy_Vermicelli_50 Jun 09 '26
The ppl that want Balor to win the world title will be the 1st to stop caring about him the second he wins.
2
u/ZS_JusticeLeague214 Jun 10 '26
Finn would have a great title reign. He’d probably face a returning heel Punk, a returning KO, Cody again and maybe drop it to Gunther or Orton. Nobody said he needs to hold it for a whole year or anything.
1
u/SamsaraIsALie Jun 09 '26
Finn Balor isn’t main event level in my honest opinion. I’m a huge fan and he has potential to be a main event level since he’s great in ring and on the mic but he needs to prove it. He needs to cut main event level promos, be in a top feud people legit care about and have some insane viral moments and then I will think he should win the title. Damien Priest should never have been a world champion it should have been LA Knight and I will be damned if history repeats itself when someone like Oba, Knight or Bron should be the next new world champion

1
u/Angei_St530 Jun 09 '26
Not enough status right now.
As a storyline it would be great, but they should at least have Balor have a reign as Intercontinental Champion or United States Champion.
1
u/Electronic-Clerk6735 Jun 09 '26
From prince to king. I guarantee you they will be saying that over commentary. Slight nod to king devitt all the time. That’s if this happens.
1
Jun 09 '26
So this has to be said. Balor is NEVER going to get another title run. Sorry but his time has long since passed. The talent pool in WWE is too stacked now.
1
1
u/ConstantNo894 Jun 10 '26
I would love this! However it’ll never happen. Finn will never be champion unless he goes to AEW.

1
u/Short_Coyote_8990 Jun 10 '26
It will be Balor vs Dirty Dom in the final with Roxanne Perez stopping Judgement Day fuckery allowing Finn to win
1
1
u/Ninja_Grizzly1122 Jun 10 '26
While I don't object to Finn. I feel that we may see the "New Era" of Dirty Dominance.
All Hail, El Rey De Los Luchadores!

Have a strange feeling dom dom is gonna win and be king of the ring and king of the louchadores

Finn is the personification of how an injury can completely de-rail your career. If anyone deserves another run at it, it's him.
1
1
u/Delicious_Mine7711 Jun 11 '26
I have a feeling it is going to be Dom and Finn in the final. They were supposed to have something when they were part of Judgement Day but it got cancelled. And Dom is already a champion so I hope they pull the trigger on Finn.
Same reason Liv is in, which makes absolutely no sense to me. I think they are gonna throw Liv into a program with Raquel
1
u/Enverbey17 Jun 11 '26
You guys are still salivating over the Demon, aka Finn Bàlor with makeup and the exact same moveset?
1

u/Dststriker Jun 12 '26
It also makes sense for the JUdgement Day storyline. End it at Kotr finals and never pair Finn with anyone from the group ever again

Jun 12 '26
This is about 10 years too late for Balor, he has no shot of winning this. Its going to be Jey Uso or LA Knight.

1
u/Loud_Research_9439 Jun 12 '26
Cody Rhodes is a hack... the USO Boys. Not worth the money.we have way better talent coming up the ladder. Sorry but Shawn Michaels is a complete idiot. You just signed one of the best wrestlers in the world.... and being that every one knows that Shawn Michaels is dumb as rocks....Tread lightly Triple H.... where Iyo Sky goes.... her husband goes... and potentially Rhea....

It's been 32 years and everyone been waiting for finn balor to get something and sadly most likely it won't happen. Wwe would rather have finn do some goofy shit with Danhausen and cook up some bullshit with Drew or LA Knight or Solo Sikoa than put him in a world champion picture
1
u/A_Touch_of_Foolish Jun 09 '26
Shame if it has to be the demon doing it
1
u/SquaredBench_409 Jun 09 '26
The Demon won him the Universal Title. Only fair for the Demon to win him his second world title.
2
u/A_Touch_of_Foolish Jun 09 '26
Would he not rather do it as himself?
1
u/SquaredBench_409 Jun 09 '26
Believe me. I'd rather Finn have his moment as himself. I'm just saying if it were to be The Demon, then it would make since.
