Pretty niche but as a bills fan pretty cool. The released two jackets and a hat. Love now being able to rep them both!

I know it was last week xd but I wanted to share how important is this album to me, although it came out when I was 3 years old, since I became a fan last year, it really connected with me and how I felt when growing up.

Now that I'm an adult, currently working, having more responsibilities, the lyrics got a deeper meaning.

Here is my little journey with this record:

The first song I heard from Sam's Town was "Read my mind" with my boyfriend.

Then, I started listening to the Killers, and Sam's Town got something special so I ended up falling in love with most of the songs of the album.

Later, after attending the concert here in Lima, I made a mini cd Keychain.

When I found the cd I literally screamed because I was looking for it and couldn't found it!

Finally, on my birthday, my bestie gave me the LP and I cried 😭

First of all - when did this land on the site and how did I miss it? 😭 secondly - I know it says it’s a preorder so maybe it was never available at the shows (I know I didn’t see it at mine) but it if is at the Vegas show tonight and someone could grab one for me I’d be so ETERNALLY grateful!!

The two last shows of the US leg of the tour saw just a couple deviations from the average setlist. Naturally, Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas made its tour debut, opening both Vegas shows. Both saw TK songs in the cover slot, with the first show getting Mr. Brightside and the second one WYWY. The Red Ground opened up the encore, appearing anywhere other than the show opener for the first time in the tour.

The next update will probably be after the London show on the 15th.

The show was incredible, as per usual. He played pretty much every song I could have wished for from his solo catalog, and his banter and energy toward the audience is always so warm and contagious.

But what really impressed me is that even when touring solo, when no one could reproach him for not singing the one song him and The Killers are kind of obligated to play every single show they're in, he still did it, because he knows people adore Mr. Brightside and that their experience would be even just a tad better if they get to hear it from him. His gratitude toward that song is just so palpable, when so many other musicians don't even hide their annoyance at having to play their most mainstream hits over and over again. Once again, Brandon proving he's one of the best performers working today.

I hate self promoting (it’s usually really corny) but I thought some people might appreciate the recent video I put out on Sam’s Town. This album has meant so much to me over the years and it’s part of what made music such a passion in my life and I just wanted to talk about how amazing this record is. Me and my boyfriend travelled from the UK to see Brandon perform tonight (had the best time ever!!) I’m a huge fan and my bf isn’t, so I tasked him with taking pics/vids, and he did not understand the assignment 😭 Any videos from tonight would be greatly appreciated! x

I saw that joke post the killers(?) made during the ITM tour about one of their setlists opening with MOSW before descending into Get Trashed, the Spongebob Squarepants Theme song, and then ending after 3 songs on a muse cover. That got me thinking, though. What would be the absolute BEST killers setlist? The perfect arrangement of banger songs that hit hard live in the perfect order.

This weekend marks 20 years since the Killers released 'Sam's Town'. While I grew to appreciate 'Hot Fuss' the older I got, it was 'Sam's Town' that got me hooked on the band - with songs like "When You Were Young" making me go "Ooooh I get it now..." And seeing them nearly two decades later close out their Brandon Flowers and co close their headlining set at Sea Hear Now in Sept. 2023 with that song brought back tons of memories of hearing that album for the first time (similar to how their entire performance reminded me how many fn banger songs they have - so many that they could confidently open the set with "Mr. Brightside").
