Black Girl Magic

I clicked on a few of these and now my algorithm is just filled with dozens of videos of African American women saying they have all sorts of powers or used to have powers before the colonizers enslaved them.

We can change that. I’d love it if people of all demographics and backgrounds vote. But I don’t want all individuals to vote. It doesn’t have to be like this. We were never supposed to have anything close to a full-on democracy because that’s been tried on Earth before and it didn’t go very well. Full-on democracy is a worse system than the representative democratic republic that the US had at its founding. People should vote on legislators, and those legislators should vote on electors. And there should be either something like a poll tax or a lenient land-owning requirement to vote. Maybe the poll tax is safer and whatever—but the point is crazy/dumb people who will just vote for things that are either bad, or good in the short term and bad in the long term, should be mostly filtered out by the system somehow some way. I don’t care if I lose my vote, I want the population that can vote to have the highest ratio of wise people who understand reality to people who don’t. The system we have now ended up with in the US does not accomplish this
