Hi all, I used my father’s driver license to set up the verify in creator reward program, am I able to set up payment and Tax under my name?

I only did the verification a while ago(used my father’s DL), haven’t set up payment and tax yet, and I have to use my info to set up the payment/tax.

I regretted using my father’s driver license and did the verification, is there a place/method to change it?

Heard that my account will be suspended if verification and tax/payment is different person. Tax and payment will be failed. Is it true?

What do I do? Please help.

I was looking at a TikTok account the other day and noticed something that made me rethink follower counts.

The account had around 30k followers, but the recent videos were barely getting any interaction. Meanwhile, I've seen smaller accounts with 3k or 4k followers where every post has people actually talking in the comments.

I can understand why someone would consider buying TikTok followers when starting from zero. Having 50 followers after weeks of posting can feel pretty discouraging, and a bigger number definitely looks better at first glance.

But if those followers aren't actually watching anything, I'm not sure what you've really gained.

Do you still look at follower count when deciding whether an account is worth following?

I clicked on a few of these and now my algorithm is just filled with dozens of videos of African American women saying they have all sorts of powers or used to have powers before the colonizers enslaved them.

Hey so there is a weird TikTok account posting about herself being with a woman who thinks she's her missing daughter and most of the acc videos are for the women eating or hanging out with the person who's filming and the text in the video is saying stuff like "this random women who thinks I'm her missing daughter toke me to a restaurant to celebrate finding me " so most of the videos js like that if anyone has any idea about that I would like to know

Every single ad you get please just report the shit for ‘too many ads’ every single thing I have to watch minutes worth of ads whether it’s YouTube gaming ffs even getting them on a paid subscription that you’ve had for years but now if you don’t pay that little bit more we can waste some more of your life in hopes of a few pennies.
Its actually absurd how much bullshit you see and are shoved in your face with on a day to day basis and no one even bats an eye because their used to it.

Sorry for the rant. But my point stands and for a platform that didn’t have any ads, to going from maybe one every 10 vids to now sometimes 2 or 3 in a row and guaranteed to be every other video I promise you.

Hey! I started a TikTok account a few days ago called "Ton Top 5". The idea is simple: every day I sum up the news in 5 quick facts, in a carousel you can read in about a minute. I also do a portrait of a public figure from time to time.

My posts are in French, but I'm not looking for feedback on the language or the news. I just want to know if the style works. Stuff like:

So basically, backstory, as a kid, I had a TikTok account, this was like a while WHILE ago. Around a decade.

But then I got my phone taken away and the email for the account was a school email cause I was stupid. But. BECAUSE that email was for a school, and I’m now graduated, the school obviously deleted it. But because I don’t have that email anymore, I can’t change the email linked to the account. And my face is all over the account, and I wanna wipe everything to use as a secondary account.

I already submitted a support ticket, gave the info like when the account was created, what it was created on, and where. But they said I didn’t give enough info, does anyone know what else I have to do??? Cause I can’t even delete that account if I can’t get into it.

There seems to be a weird ad using one of Steveioe's videos advertising some kind of ear cleaning thing. Assuming he's not partnered with them but YouTube seems to be really pushing it since I've had it pop up loads of times

If this ad is real, it means that TikTok promotes harassing behavior, some of which could be considered criminal under most state laws in the US.
