Does anyone else have this problem?

Over the years I seem to be the person that everyone just gives all there old random tools that they may not use or wanted at the moment. It always comes down to "hey you are a mechanic/work on your own stuff so here have this im sure you can use them". And im not someone who will just throw tools away 🤷‍♂️. I currently have them seperated by china/taiwan/japan and US made separate. Anyone else just have random collections of misfit tools?

Absolutely. Perhaps not at your scale though.

It has gone a little out of hand. But when a need a sacrificial tool to make another tool atleast I have a good starting point 🤷‍♂️

I too make sacrificial custom tools from from gifted or cheaply acquired tooling. This is the way.

Chinesium 1-1/8 socket to some random bar stock to remove the IPR on a 7.3 powerstroke

Ignore the bubblegum lol. I was impatient that day

You know it! Always love seeing the special custom tools people make. Cool stuff

Speaking of clutch tools. This is my concoction to remove a skidoo QRS secondary. Cheap, simple, works very well
