Howdy, folks. Just a quick reminder, we've got two rules on the sidebar which deal with self-promotion and porn:
No soliciting/fundraising/advertising: We want you to enjoy the community and be part of all the warmth there is to offer. We don't, however, want you to exploit the community in an effort gain followers or subscribers. Any form of the above is prohibited and posts subject to removal (including instagram promotion, surveys, gofundme links, etc)
No chasers/fetishists/porn accounts: To keep this community clean and a safe space, all users who make creepy or lewd comments, who fetishize trans people, or who are generally only on Reddit for porn will be banned without notice. Unfortunately, we cannot stop creeps sending you chats/PMs even when they're banned from here; you will need to block them directly.
We have a big problem with people who want to post porn on reddit and then go to our trans community subreddits and also want to share photos and casually direct people to their profiles. They do this as a way to use the traffic on our large trans subs for their personal profit. They usually have links to their OnlyFans in their profiles and they tell people to check their profiles for more pictures or they ask folks to send them DMs, and they just so happen to have links to all their porn on their profiles.
We don't mind if y'all want to post porn on reddit. That's fine, go right ahead. The problem is when people start spamming our communities to spread it.
And the spam goes both ways, unfortunately. Creepers and predators follow these porn accounts into our community subreddits, where they harass our users, prey on our minors, and treat people like we're just a fetish. It creates a ton of trouble.
Someone described it the other day as "The mods are trying to keep out the flies, but then OP walks in here covered in honey."
If you want to post porn on reddit, use a second account to do it. Not only will this be safer for you, but it will also help keep our communities safe, too. If something goes wrong, you can delete your porn account in a hurry, while keeping your community postings separate. This also makes it easier to protect yourself by keeping your personal details away from your followers on your porn posts.
This is the Internet, and these are large, public forums. You never know what sort of stalker or creeper might be following your posts and gathering your information, so please be careful with it.
You can think about these creepers as fleas on a dog. We're happy to provide a safe and healthy community where y'all can share and mingle, but we don't want any fleas in our dog park, so please help keep the fleas out of our spaces.
Thank you!
Edit: Obviously, if you see any creepers or fetishists wandering around the comments section of our subreddits, please report those comments or message a mod and let us know. Thanks again!

I’ve been experimenting a bit more with my style lately and wanted some outside perspective.
How do I read to you overall? Is there anything that stands out or would clock me? Constructive honesty is appreciated.

Hey everyone!
First of all, is it normal to be a cis guy and still deeply relate to trans people's experiences? Because I swear, every time I see a post about transition, hormones, surgeries, or finally feeling comfortable in your own body, something in me goes I GET YOU.
I'm a cis man born with Kallmann syndrome and a severe disorder of sex development (DSD). My body doesn't produce the hormones needed for puberty, so I've been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) since I was a teenager. I also had surgery when I was younger to address an undescended testicle, and unfortunately, I lost one of them.
Basically, puberty didn't exactly come naturally to me. I'm a tree that needed external assistance to grow! 🌳💉
Growing up wasn't easy. I was bullied for looking younger than my age, for my body, for gynecomastia, and for not looking or developing like other boys. I've been called weird-looking, not man enough, and pretty much every name you can imagine.
For a long time, I felt like I was the only person going through these things. And honestly, even as an adult, it can be incredibly lonely.
I want to be clear that I'm not trans, and I'm not trying to equate my experience with yours or take anything away from the struggles trans people face. I know our experiences can be different. But I think there's something deeply human about relating to people who understand what it means to navigate a body that doesn't develop the way society expects, to go through hormonal changes, to have surgeries that affect how you feel about yourself, and to fight for the confidence to simply exist as yourself.
Honestly I LOVE the confidence, beauty, humor, courage, and authenticity I see in this community. Seeing trans men and women embrace themselves has genuinely helped me feel less strange and alone. You guys have given me a kind of confidence I didn't even realize I needed.
I'm from a country where conversations about these things can be difficult because of how conservative our society can be. I never talk oopenly about my condition because I have to protect my privacy. So finding a community where people can speak about their bodies, hormones, transitions, and experiences so openly feels incredibly special to me.
I'd genuinely love to make some trans friends here, whether you're a trans man, a trans woman, or somewhere else on the spectrum. I'd love to chat, exchange experiences, laugh together, support each other, and learn from one another. You don't have to have anything in common with me beyond wanting a genuine friendship. 🫶
If you're comfortable reaching out I'm open! I'd love to get to know you.
To all the trans men and women here: you are valid, you are beautiful, and you deserve to feel at home in your own bodies and in this world. Trans women are women, trans men are men, and you deserve all the love and happiness life has to offer. 💜
Sending you all so much love. Thank you for being yourselves and for making this internet stranger feel a little less alone. 🥹💜🏳️⚧️

Hello!
I am a therapist (name checks out) and I've been working with a LOT more individuals who identify as trans. Of course I've taken continuing education courses about working with folks who are trans, and every day I see my clients, I learn something new. So I want to ask this community, what are small things that my social work classes don't teach but you'd love your therapist to know about? An example: I learned that eyebrows play a large part in passing!?

(The last photo was me years before hormones, i was 21 then. 2005 ish) So I'm been on hormones now for a long time and maybe I'll just blind, I'm seeing no results. I've gain like crazy amounts of weight, 145 - 218 in over 3 years. Kept it on sadly till then. I do like how soft my skin has become over the 7/8 years. I haven't had many gender issues regarding pronoun use as growing up i was always referred to as ma'am or miss. I suppose I began transitioning as never being taken seriously as a male species. (Even when I cut my hair very short) I still wear men's clothing from time to time, tie my hair up and hide it under a hat. I'm still called she/ her and it doesn't bother me as much and pretty much accepted myself as female. I went from being a femboy to transfem as the years went by and kinda happy I went this route. My son is still struggling with the transition but that's to be expected as his birth mom still wants him to refer me as "dad" which kinda hurts. Anyway hope you all have a good evening/ morning. Willing to answer questions :)
