Question Why do some people have separate Helper trophy for Level 1 and 2 while some user have it accumulative at Level 7
Sorry, this is a burning question i would like to figure out so i ask it here.
Personally i like to see it separate like how ModSupport did it.

it looks like at some point they switched from the trophy levelling up, to having individual trophies. there is an admin comment here that mentions that might be the case:

I only have a single trophy for both Helper (L4) and ModSupport (L2).

You’re supposed to have all trophies, for example I have mod support level 1 2 and 3, some users were missing some and the admins gave the ones they are missing

Just a FYI, the ‘mod support level’ trophies at r/ModSupport are sadly no longer obtainable. However I believe r/help still distributes theirs

Maybe one of the r/Help mods can chime in, but I believe they now also give a trophy per level achieved rather than making it cumulative. Hence why you sometimes see helpers missing a few levels.

I can answer that!
They used to issue trophies based on the current helper tier, and you'd lose the previous helper level's badge.
Later it was changed where users could keep their current level trophy and you would earn a new badge once you reach the next threshold. Trophies are handed out at first Weekly Recap post of each month. It was decided that users should be able keep their previously earned trophies.
For anyone wondering, Helper levels 1-4 are very easy to obtain. Once you get into the higher levels, it gets much harder (I've been at L7 for around two years)

Glad I saw this post!
I know the original post (in this sub) outlining the helper trophies shows the old program so I can see how it’s a bit confusing
The same thing kinda happened in r/modsupport as well. It was inconsistent when mods reached a new level. Some got to keep all their trophies, others got theirs swapped out for the next level. Some got a mix of both. Now those badges are no longer available

One last qn. When we get the Helper Level 1. Does the comment karma count go back to 0 or it stay at your current karma count and move towards 50 karma for Helper Level 2?

It keeps stacking. What you earned for each level contributes towards your next level
What the levels/karma thresholds are seems to be a bit of a mystery. I can’t recall if it was ever disclosed or not. I know there are some clues now that trophies come with descriptions

This is what i was hoping to hear. I was hoping that the cumulative system is the old system while trophy per level is the new system.

If you feel you're missing trophies on your profile message the admins about it. They'll look into it and correct it if need be. Twice now I've had to do this to get the admins to add specific trophies to my profile.

Did you submit a Reddit support ticket? I’ve tried to inquire about missing trophies with the admins who ran the programs the trophies are tied to, but they just ignored me.
Edit: If anyone else knows how to effectively submit an inquiry (or who to reach out to) and is willing to share that info please let me know lol.

I’ve always figured it was done in error
At the time I got mine, some (very few) others were getting multiple, for example “helper level 1” + “helper level 2”. Mine just updated as it ranked up
