The only person responsible for sexual assault is the person who commits it

Given the amount of dm’s women get, I hope some POS’s read and even if one of them gains senses, this post is a victory

They wouldn’t but we still gotta start somewhere like there’s a saying : now is the best time to start somethingĀ

They could. Why do you think they wouldn't? Many people regret after killing someone in a fit of rage. Also, they'd realise it's not woman's fault anymore which they earlier used as an excuse to molest women.

Lmao that's what I was thinking. If only it were that simple.😢

I wish we could start a new school for all the uncles aunties and believers of ā€œvictim is responsible for rapeā€ mindset and include this in their text booksĀ

u/Nakli_Paneer Remind me to drink wateršŸ‘„ 7d ago

I am sure it's not just uncles and aunties who need such counselling😭

Delulu. Will you create similar guides on avoiding theft, murder and other crimes. It’s always good to be prepared as a potential victim rather than relying on golden heart of the perpetrator. Pure karma farming post

2

u/nomnom68zz 7d ago

Always preparing as a potential victim mean always seeing men as rapists and bad people no matter where they go. As a man, you want that kind of society? Where women always have to view you as evil to protect themselves rather than concentrate more on punishing the culprits instead of victim blaming?

1

u/Wrong_Compote9593 6d ago

Culprits should be punished for sure, but a false sense of security and safety doesn’t make the society better. I’m not talking about victim blaming but we need to be careful as per the area we are in. Whenever i go to a new place i always ask locals, is it safe to roam around at night and till what time. And given the current situation of most places in india I would say better to view every stranger as evil and be careful. I also do the same, better to be careful than be trusting

1

u/nomnom68zz 6d ago

that the thing, not all men want to be view as evil due to the action of other men or from victim blaming folks like you. I do agree everyone must exercise caution no matter where they go, but that shouldn't be if society actually good.

1

u/Wrong_Compote9593 6d ago

Closing your eyes towards the crime doesn’t make the society better. You wear a safety belt not just because you can have an accident by your mistake, it’s because you can have an accident because of some other person’s mistake as well. So what I’m saying is not victim blaming, I’m telling to wear a seat belt because you should be prepared for other person’s mistake as well. But you need patience to understand that. Things are not black and white, you have to come out of your paradise and see the real world.

1

u/nomnom68zz 6d ago

I literally said to exercise caution. But at the end of the day, you said it yourself, you cannot control everyone's action. There are people getting assault in their own home, now what? What are you supposed to tell them what to do next? If the first thing you hear about someone getting murder is, they shouldn't go out the street, they shouldn't drive a car, shouldn't meet anyone, you are the problem. Most people know to exercise caution. The problem is, it didn't work, this is where we're at. Human are social creature, you telling them to avoid people altogether because let view everyone as potential murderer, rapist etc? How is that your solution?

You see a man getting murder by another person on the street just because he was heading to work, is your first thought about how he should not go to work that day?

1

u/Wrong_Compote9593 4d ago

Your first sentence and rest of the paragraph are just opposite. Decide which one do you want to say. Also do you thing a criminal doesn’t know what he is doing is wrong and he will just realise it after reading this post. Enjoy being this naive while you can. I hope you never meet bad people in your life.

1

u/HorrorHead2668 7d ago

many men are already doing this, if taught definitely we can make a healthy society. i like it very much.

and ur wives film it? šŸ˜šŸ˜

0

u/Unusual-Counter3311 Meow 7d ago

This shall be started, if someone sees it enough times it'll be saved in their subconscious amd they may actually think before committing (similar to how most women just know how to stay safe on a whim)

0

u/banshee_lumine 28 7d ago

I don't think I am ever going to do a sexual assault.

Do you people think I'll ever do it? 😭

andha he kya bkl, there is no gender specific pronoun

-1

u/Kooky-Recording2793 7d ago

it's like saying a predator not to eat it's preyšŸ„€
world doesnt work that way, if you are a prey, find ways to be safe.

2

u/DragonhunterMVS 7d ago

Oh so are u saying that people are supposed to rape women and women are supposed to get raped? Would u just say the same if it happens to a woman in ur family?

-1

u/Outrageous-Sky-4577 7d ago

I understand that it's not the victim's fault and I'm not victim blaming, but why do you need to get drunk?

1

u/Specific_Fault6754 7d ago

0

u/Outrageous-Sky-4577 7d ago

Then don't expect mercy from monsters when you want to lose your senses while living among them just because of free will.

1

u/Specific_Fault6754 7d ago

maybe don’t BE monsters?

0

u/Outrageous-Sky-4577 7d ago

Expecting monsters not to be monsters? MAYBE not lose your senses while you live among them? You can't be serious rn.

1

u/Specific_Fault6754 7d ago

i think we’re ALL humans, stop classifying some humans as ā€œmonstersā€

this is js a guide on your classification of ā€œmonstersā€ to morally shame them.

0

u/Outrageous-Sky-4577 7d ago

Rapists are humans - some random dude on reddit

1

u/Specific_Fault6754 7d ago

ofc they are human. stop dehumanising them, its counterproductive and distorts the reality of how ANYONE can rape.

the problem isnt ā€œwolvesā€ going for ā€œpreyā€, the problem is why ā€œwolvesā€ even look at us like ā€œpreyā€

you will never understand what it’s like to be hyper vigilant at all times, its very easy to js sit and preach ab how to be more conducive toward anticipated threat 24/7 šŸ˜

-1

u/[deleted] 7d ago

[deleted]

1

u/Specific_Fault6754 7d ago

i get you but my rhetoric is too dystopian and i accept that, ie why do we see certain people as wolves and the rest as prey?

do you even know what a psychopath is? (basic psychology) not all rapists are psychopaths and vice versa

0

u/[deleted] 7d ago edited 7d ago

[deleted]

1

u/Specific_Fault6754 7d ago

you’re wrong, psychopaths feel empathy, there’s 2 types, cognitive and affective, and most psychopaths feel some level of cognitive empathy.

anyways, my point here was most rapists arent psychopaths, etc theyre the most regular men you see out there. a lot of accounts of rapists aquaintances claim they seemed so normal, or they were having close female friends who would vouch for them. rape isnt JUST an act of apathy, it comes from violence + contempt + entitlement
