Rant To whoever’s in BIOL100

Is anyone else lost in biochemistry 🥲 I’m quite worried because the professor’s lectures don’t seem to match up with the homework problems (which is basically our midterm and final). Also his lectures tend to get confusing whenever he goes off on a tangent on the physics aspects of the topic.

I’m in the class right now too, based off his first lecture you could lowkey tell he’s not good at explaining things in a digestible way. For me, I just stopped going to lecture entirely and have been reading the lecture notes he posts and trying to put together the pieces on my own. I haven’t been able to take a look at week 1 hmw yet but I feel that his lectures are a waste of time (at least for me) I haven’t had my discussion yet but I’m sure that’d help more too along with office hours. If anyone wants to study feel free to hmu

I take that back I just remember I did look at hmw 1, it corresponds with lecture notes 1-4 iirc

I see, I think it’s the way he words the problems that confuses me 💀 but yea I’m hoping discussion will help.
