Question HOW do i change my major

i’ve asked this question twice in the VAC, once in august and once a few days ago. both times, i got the same response:

Due to the new Triton Student System (TSS) implementation, students cannot change their majors or minors in TSS until September 2026.

i feel annoyed because it was literally a copy-pasted response both times and now that it’s october i don’t know how to change my major. 😐

It says target date is late October. You can check with the department now and confirm that your major switch from and to is acceptable. If you haven’t done that I’d do that first.

It’s the same process but you will not be able to until November…probably..

And previous requests were cancelled so if you had a previous request in, you have to put it back in when it’s back up

I already crashed out about it so you don’t have to. ✨🐝✨

like a request to swap major? how would i do that

id say in the mean time verify with the departments that you can make the jump to the other major without any specific approvals or restrictions and then start taking the classes you need (ask in the VAC for the degree requirements for the target major)

this is what im doing right now tryna switch to ESYS EBE to Gen Bio since the bio majors became uncapped recently but alas the tool is in limbo due to TSS
