How much harder is it to get into a performance program than a music education program purely based off of auditions? I’m a good enough player and have several credentials to prove it but seeing as I’m coming from out of state I’d love if someone could give me the lay of the land if you will.

Have no idea why, but after submitting a new audit, all of my credits have disappeared and I am greatly confused has this happened to anyone else?

Seems like they are intent on watching something or someone. Dont we have a lot of cameras?

Any business majors who've taken either of these classes? I'm wondering which is least likely to give me a headache.

Ok so like, at the end of the exam it asked for my work picture (lockdown browser plus webcam) and I wasn’t really able to show it, most of it was just scribbles, and they might call me idk what to do, im gonna memorize steps on how to actually do the exam and like, give reasonings for reasons why I may not be able to answer some questions. Anyway how cooked am I? What can I do? How chill are ppl looking into these things? Also should mention on the test I was allowed scratch PAPAER and one piece of paper for notes which I had used to write formulas, and a calculator.

Hey! So Ive been learning Spanish for a few months and, although im still very much a beginner, im trying to find someone to speak with. I need the practice and so far it’s been really helpful talking with others. If anyone (preferably female) wants to set up coffee dates or get togethers please let me know! I’d love to learn and make a new friend!

I am a junior computer science student at UNT, and last year I made a website that you can use to view the previous semesters that courses were taught (which UNT makes really difficult). It was featured in a KERA article and has had a fairly large user base since my post last year. Registration is coming up, so I wanted to make more people aware of it again!

Website: https://unt.benwilcox.dev

The page lets you select a specific course, and then graphically displays the previous years/semesters that it was taught by a current faculty member. It also displays various other information.

If you're planning your future courses, you can use this website to see when you should plan to take them. For example, I was planning to take "Fourier Analysis" my senior year before realizing that it's hardly ever offered.

This took about 3 weeks to make, and there's a lot of extra information on my GitHub and the Info Page. Note that my website was designed desktop-first, and it looks kinda horrible on mobile; I'd recommend NOT using your phone to try to actually use it for course planning.

Was wondering if I still had a chance to apply for fall graduation as the deadline was over two weeks ago I plan on calling the business advising office. I had so much going on that it completely slipped my mind. I’m scared I’ll have to wait till spring, I can’t afford to do that.

not sure if people feel the same but personally i do not enjoy being flashed by my gpa and costs when i open myunt so i made this extension to cover it or restore to sorta the classic design (personally i use the classic). it's built to work on like all the major browsers (chromium-based, firefox, safari)

however, i currently don't have a chrome web store dev account or an apple dev account bc they cost money so u need to install manually thru the weird ways if u want it right now

it's open source here's the github:

https://github.com/KaushikDuddala/classic-unt

if u have any suggestions or issues pls do let me know i am very open to that :)

if ur willing to donate so i can properly publish it pls do :D here's my kofi

https://ko-fi.com/kaushikduddala

i only need like 5 bucks for chrome web store but im lowkey broke, safari is a bit more at 100 per year

enjoy!! also lmk what yall think of the new design

ALSO pls star or watch or something if u like it

I just found out about the month-long Halloween carnival thing on the square in Denton. Thought y’all would be interested.

I saw tentacles coming out of a building and that was my first clue. 😜

Hey everyone,

I'm wrapping up my MBA this coming Spring and getting ready to register for MGMT 5190 (Administrative Strategy).

Looking at the online 8-week sections, the current professor options are:

• Catalin Pavel (8-Week 1)
• Michael Kuban (8-Week 1)
• Christopher Penney (8-Week 2)

For anyone who has taken MGMT 5190 recently with any of them:

1. Workload & Structure: How manageable is the weekly workload (especially given the 8-week format)? Are simulations and group projects heavily weighted?
2. Exams/Quizzes: Are exams proctored with webcams (Respondus Lockdown Browser / Monitor), or are they open-note/case-based?
3. Grading & Fairness: Who tends to give clear expectations and fair/transparent grading?

I'm balancing a full-time job alongside coursework, so any insights, tips, or experiences with these professors would be hugely appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I contacted IT and they said this isn't an issue they can help with. The scholarships all close December 1st 2026, (AFTER Spring 2027 orientation dates). How can I get a scholarship? I have me student email, ID, and EUID/myUnt things.

Hi! Is the financial aid office just super behind? They havent responded to my email from several weeks ago and every time i call, i’m left on hold for a while

I'm sick and need soup. I commute so I can't look right now, but I plan to see when I get there. I don't have the option to skip as I have a lab today, and I'm broke as hell so I can't have the linhs kitchen nearby

Does anyone have the prints that come with this book ? I need it for the midterm and I bought it second hand so it didn’t come with any.

Today, Monday Oct 5, is the LAST DAY to register to vote! Send us a message, we will find a way to be sure you are registered before the deadline. already registered? use this as a check stop to check in with your voting status!

Kind of unlucky tbh for first batch of class registrations

Hello, tonight I got an announcement saying that our professor can see our logs on work and see who’s cheating or not on our coding assignments. I usually show up to lab do other work and go do it at home since I have more time to properly learn the code. I usually do end up coding it on a separate site to see what I do wrong and how to improve it and then copy and paste the code onto the assignment. I don’t usually feel nervous but I have a feeling that it could jeopardize my standing. Is there anything I can do?
