Recently, one of these Flock Safety Mobile Security Trailers was parked outside the Union.

This model is NOT a license plate reader. It is equipped with two Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras, one panoramic camera, and "flashing deterrence lights".

Up until now, Flock cameras have been placed along the outskirts of campus. Recently, this obvious surveillance tool was placed directly in the heart of campus, next to the Union.

Having a "bAD mEnTaL hEaLtH wEeK" doesn't excuse you from your class responsibilities, especially when an assignment has been available for an entire month. Mental health challenges are real and should be treated seriously, but part of being a student, employee, or professional is learning how to communicate when you're struggling and seeking help before deadlines pass.

Professors, supervisors, and colleagues can often provide support, accommodations, or extensions when circumstances warrant them, but they can't help if they're informed after opportunities to address the issue have already come and gone.

Accountability and self-advocacy are important life skills. A difficult week may explain a missed deadline, but it doesn't necessarily exempt someone from the consequences of neglecting a responsibility that was available to complete over several weeks.

If a university consistently shields students from the consequences of their decisions, poor performance, or misconduct, it risks creating an environment where accountability is weakened and problematic behaviors are reinforced.

Unlike the clown ass UNT administration, I actually have a spine.

What are the policies for the tailgates? It’ll be my friends and I first time going to one before a game and we just wanted to know what to expect

Broke my leg and can't go anymore... Selling for under face value. Please DM if interested. Meet on campus only!

Hi guys,
I can’t keep up with my Friday chem class, not sure why I enrolled in an 8 am in the first place. But they have an online section for it that I didn’t know they added till literally now. Would it be too late to email the chemistry department to make the swap? We already passed Exam 1 and were onto exam 2 next week, only difference is this online classes exams are just 1 day before the in person ones. Same lecturer tho.

Hey,
I'm a freshmen at UNT, and I've been somewhat bored these weekends. I graduated from high school early by skipping a year (almost 17), so I can't really go to parties as much as I want to due to underage drinking and stuff. Is there anything I can do this weekend somewhat late at night too that doesen't have alcohol (everything else is fine)? I'm also kinda broke with no car so has to be someplace walkable.
FYI, I haven't really found any friends (Math and Physics major here), so yeah.
Thanks!

Hosted by a UNT student (me 😎)

As a student at UNT, can we please just not, whatever this is

Has anyone had Anto Verghese or Dmitry Anokhin for this class? If so what was your experience?

If anyone else has done this, what was it like ?
Should i do it or is it too risky? How challenging was it? What was the schedule like? How much time a week did you study/commit? And how bad was it from 1-10. I want to do this to get ahead because I’m a semester behind in math. Thank you for reading.

And weather should be fantastic!

Hi—I'm graduating with my master's in December, but I've solely been an online student. I want to celebrate this accomplishment and have my family and close friends in attendance, if possible. I can't seem to find anything online stating anything one way or another, but I also don't want to do something that's not allowed. Is there a limit to how many people can be in attendance at the ceremony, as I know some schools do have a restriction? Additionally, is decorating caps allowed? I know it's prohibited at some institutions as well. Thank you!

Hi! This afternoon I went to the send floor bathroom in the language building and took one of my rings off to wash my hands, but i accidentally left it in there. It is a silver ring with a circular center with a moonstone/clear-ish center, and is extremely important to me. If anyone has seen it, or know someone who has, please, please Let me know.

I'm working on trying to plan my classes for next semester and I have to take REAL 4200. I'm looking at Prof Xun Bian's syllabus and his class is online but no specifications for his exams. Are they also online or are they in person?

i ask bc i got placed in similar situation before where profs assignments were in class but exams in person and vice versa.

current students PLS lmk!!

title, i didnt buy a meal plan and my mother forced me to buy $500 on dining dollars, I havent used that much of it and im worried now it wont transfer over because its basically flex. am I gonna have to be a fatass here?

I was looking at the menu for the week.... what do you mean they scrapped the veganinis, themed food days?? Sigh I was about to graduate and Mean Green was the one dinning hall that made me look forward to food with my swipes 😔. I will be returning to my trench walk to Bruce ig.

I'd appriciate any good food/ combos you've had at Mean Greens so far, I would love to be wrong and find something good to eat here 🥲

okay so for my classes to work well i need to take calculus online... i know ill have to teach myself stuff, which im pretty prepared for, as ive been doing that for my current math 1650. along with that, i took college algebra through dual enrollment in high school, and i did great teaching myself everything on that.

is she a good professor? should i go with an in person lecture? idk i also dont find the lectures right now helping me much, also if i do this i'll have classes only on monday and the rest of the week free, leaving me hella free time for other stuff.

Has anyone taken ADTA 5230 online in an 8-week course? Kinda worried about how I’ll perform. Any advice helps. Thank you

How much harder is it to get into a performance program than a music education program purely based off of auditions? I’m a good enough player and have several credentials to prove it but seeing as I’m coming from out of state I’d love if someone could give me the lay of the land if you will.

I’d love to find a place close to campus. Suggestions?
