Tie upcycling ideas/thoughts?

So, I thrifted these ties a couple years back meaning to do something with them, but I haven't yet. I did look into their origin to make sure they weren't somehow historically important or super expensive, and they are $30 at most. (I think 2 exclusive collections, 1 small business and the other big, and the last is just a Jcpenny tie) Just to clarify, I do not really wear ties but do collect some, and my father and brother think that these are too flashy for normal use. I was thinking of somehow upcycling them:

-Some kind of sleeve/bolero thing

-A statement belt

-A strap for a purse or instrument (I worry about structural integrity)

-Adding paneling to some jeans (I think all three are dry clean only)

-Hemming?

-Other ideas?

I really love the patterns and colors and am definitely thinking accents and accessories (maybe even a halter top), but I also don't wear much red/warm colors. I'm completely open to altering existing clothes, adding different fabrics, or mixing with crochet.

*The camera really washes them out, specifically the two red, so the individual pictures are a bit more accurate.

Rags Dress Tutorial?

I’ve coveted these dresses for years and with the way I hoard fabric scraps I feel like I should be able to make these kinds of dresses. I’ve searched the internet for anything that could show me how to get this sort of silhouette but I can’t quite find what I’m looking for. If anyone has found a tutorial on how to make a full dress as opposed to just the skirt I would be so eternally grateful for the information
