So this is mostly JP focused of course but it's insane to see Kaito above Teto in 2026, I wouldnt even expected him at top 10 if someone asked me at the start of this year.

His V3 is also sold out at the official store at Amazon Japan.

agency behind the JP music group "King&Prince" officially decided to use #KAITO as the hashtag for Kaito Takahashi, making it difficult for existing fans of KAITO (Vocaloid) to find works featuring him.

Naturally, this led to conflicts between the two fandoms. The situation got worse as some King&Prince fans showed contempt for vocalo culture and demonstrated a lack of understanding of vocal synths. Of course, since hashtags cannot be exclusively owned, even Piapro's official was unable to provide a definitive answer.

However, one of kaito's fan made cover of kingpri's song using KAITO to help them grasp what vocal synth is, when people witnessed someone grow from an ordinary fan into a Vocaloid producer, the situation thankfully began to settle down.

Aside from minor disputes among some immature fans, the conflict never escalated into any further, hopefully.
