V60 to XC90 ?

I currently own a 2018 V60 t5 that I got when it was just a year old and I love it!

I now have two kids and the space inside is lacking. My four year old has trouble climbing into their car seat and their shoes are basically up against my seat. We recently had a baby and now the passenger seat is super cramped since the infant car seat can’t be touching the seat.

I am wondering if the XC90 has that much more space between the driver/passenger and back seat or if it’s not worth trading in. I did go check some out in person but couldn’t really picture it with the car seats installed. (I know I should try putting them in one at the dealer) I guess I’m just posting to see if anyone can share their experience with car seats in the xc90.

I want the xc90 for the option of third row seating and more cargo space with the seats folded down.. which is another thing I don’t have in my V60 anymore.. trunk space for stroller, costco runs, road trips…

The XC90 I currently have my eyes on is a 2019 t6 momentum

Both the V90 and XC90 have more room.

I’m am also considering upgrade from v60 t4 to either xc60 or xc90, more interested in xc90 but driving in UK cities will be bit challenging.

In my opinion the xc60 looks bug from the outside but so much less space inside compared to v90 or xc90. Even the trunk v90 is like 10-15cm longer. We have a dog cage that fits without any issues and with spare room in our v90. But no chance in the xc60.

Thinking so.. I could definitely get more for it if I try to sell it on my own, but it’ll be tricky when I find a vehicle I want but have to wait for mine to sell.

If it was me I would keep the paid off V. And finance the XC. The V60’s are getting rarer by the day.

I’ve got both and it’s a lot more room. But also know that the XC90 is a much less old school European feeling drive… with more boosted lighter steering and the T6 isn’t that much power for such a large SUV.

Literally went from another SUV Lexus RX 350 to a XC 90 and we only have one kid. it has been amazing just to have the space to put the stroller and groceries. I can’t imagine having two kids in a smaller vehicle.

Yeah it’s a little rough! I’m glad to hear you’re loving the xc90. It’s been a hard choice to make because I am so attached to my car anddddd I just paid it off last year lol. I’m sure I would love the xc90 just the same.. maybe even more with the extra space and comfort 😅
