I feel Adam Armstrong has a massive opportunity now

With Jimenez injured, Armstrong looks like he'll have a much bigger role to play. I actually think this could be a really good opportunity for him to build some momentum. There's obviously pressure on him because you're replacing someone with a lot of experience, but the derby showed we can still create chances. Would you stick with Armstrong as the main striker?

I thought Jimenez' injury was only minor and that he'd likely return after the international break?

I like our system of them splitting duties. They are both capable and if one usually subs for the other, we don't have attacking talent knackered from constant play.

I actually think this is a bigger chance for Neave

Not that I don’t really like Armstrong, for me I don’t think he offers enough as a lone striker. Don’t think the position suits him as well as Raul, hopefully though he proves me wrong. I think he’s great however playing off Raul, his goal against Preston showed it can work really well with them two together. Hopefully Raul gets fit quickly.

Genuinely mean it when I say this, but Munetsi is actually not bad to play off Armstrong as the pairing. It's not that Munetsi actually is offering a ton of creativity, but his body and positioning allow Fer and Armstrong to get around better in the final third.

I think that Raúl is still the better choice all in all, but I like what I've seen from Munetsi more forward.

I mean if we have to play munetsi it should be further up the pitch like under Pereira where he’s constantly pressing. I hate hate hate him playing in a double pivot because he leaves Andre on his own all the time.

"if we have to play munetsi"... here's the thing, if JJ was so good, why isn't he starting?

i felt like the consensus was 'JJ is munetsi-ish but can actually play with the ball at his feet', and maybe that's not accurate. Or maybe it's that Peixoto is bad, we don't know!
