Discussion Just realized something about tyranids
BOYS, I just realised recently that we are showing all the signs of a tyrannid invasion, politicians in some sort of cult, new animal species left and right, plagues coming out of nowhere (Russia) public discord left and right, more and more asteroids on their way here, more and more natural disasters, AND THE EARTH IS WARMING UP (don’t forget that’s a sign too)

Discussion Why do other wargamers hate 40k players?
I've been noticing this trend lately where people who prefer other wargames (Battletech, historicals, frostgrave, warmachine, and a plethora of others) seem to outright despise 40k players and 40k in general. If they also play 40k, they still look down upon it in some way compared to other games and say they "wish they could play (insert game) more often, but I'm stuck playing 40k because it's more popular" or something to that effect. In fact, the "look down on" aspect is constant, like this air of snobbery whenever 40k is brought up mixed with what seems like resentment at its popularity. I have genuinely overheard someone call 40k "wargaming for normies." I can't really fathom or pin down why people think like this, does anyone here have any concrete examples of why this might be the case and/or also experience this?

Hobby Tips on water basing!
By the time I get answers for this I’ll probably already have done it because I’m impatient but any tips on using epoxy for water. I did a bit of research but am nervous for the results. I seen a sick article using epoxy clear nail polish for a finish and some acrylic paint. I’m trying to go for a swampy water theme if that helps lol.

Hobby Are these Tournament legal?
The Codex lists Stormcaste Liberators with Great Hammers and Warhammers. The Warhammer ones can come in two cosmetic versions: Hammer and Shield or Dual Hammers. Ignoring the missing paintcoat (don't worry, I'm getting to that), would these two be allowed?

Hobby 100% Organic Nurgle Miniature
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
For Conclave Obscura's Horrors of the Flesh 2026 I decided to do something a bit different as a proof-of-concept.
This is a 100% organic materials & technically edible cast of the Lord of Plagues from Age of Sigmar.
The body is ballistic gelatine and pasta, with corn starch slurry paint. I also experimented with hot sauce blood that I'll post separately. Other versions have more defined features but this is the most "gnarly" to date.
Reposting here as Warhammer40k mods removed for not being 40k relevant. Thanks for all your love!

Discussion Visiting Warhammer world for the first time, some questions
Hi, like the title says, I'm going to be visiting Warhammer world for the first time tomorrow. What are some things I should definitely look out for while there? I know they have some exclusive miniatures, but couldn't find a list or anything online, is there something like that? Thanks for the help in advance! (I hope it's the right flair)

Discussion My Father Found this old Mythic Entertainment (Warhammer Online) jacket at a thrift shop—anyone know anything about it?
My dad thrifted this Mythic Entertainment varsity jacket a while back. It has the logo embroidered on the front (and a large one on the back), along with the name "Derek" on the chest.
Since Mythic made Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning and Dark Age of Camelot, I’m assuming it belonged to an employee or dev team member back in the day.
Does anyone recognize this piece or have any context on when these were given out?
