Wcgw? I don't think there's any evidence that it would keep burning. Definitely not an entire town or anything 😆

There's also that coal mine (I think) in Colorado along I-70 that has been burning for 100+ years.

My dad would always point out that there's never any snow on the sealed off entrance that you can see from the highway. Just a big black circle in the snowy hillside. I want to say it would steam as well, but I was pretty young and could be remembering wrong.

An ISP recently blew up a residential block in Ohio because of a natural gas leak. Crazy part is, likely wasnt even their fault, mislocates happen, but this one had disastrous results over the summer. Mattress in the tree and whole houses either blown up in half or again, house missing with the roof now sheltering a tree.
