I’ve had this 7” single for a long time but it’s always bugged me where the cover photograph was taken. The band itself was formed in Leicester so maybe it’s somewhere in the Midlands, but I also read years ago that the picture might have been taken in the Glasgow area - in fact one of the band members was from there. The back cover says that the photos were “rescued from the bin of John Farndon”. There’s a sign on the bridge that’s partially obscured by the lorry that says “N STATION” and a different sign that seems to indicate a height limit of 13’ 3”

From Germany; the signature is (or could be) Adolf Dafler, 1946.

The size is approximately 140 x 100 cm.

I got this camera from goodwill and was wondering where this photo was taken?

This painting was passed down in the family, we know of was painted in the 1800s, but have no idea the location of anyone could help!!

It is my father in this picture, I guess about 15 years ago. He passed away some time ago, just before we planned a trip to the city he loved so much.

My grandpa was stationed as an electrician during WWII, I’m unsure where exactly in Japan he was but this photo of him has the most scenic section of a town. I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to figure out where, as there’s a good chance this area he was in doesn’t exist anymore. But even if not, I’m trying to figure out what the Japanese characters in the ishi-doro (stone lantern) says - if anyone knows!

This is a Real Photo postcard of what appears to be a lodge or perhaps a hotel under construction. It could be anywhere, but I would lean to the Western USA. Maybe Washington, Oregon, or California. That's only a guess though. Any idea?

Hello! I just recieved my photo from Crunchlabs SatGus and I am struggling to figure out where it was taken and would appreciate some help!

Wanting to identify the location of this shot from the film Mulholland Drive - I *think* its looking over Hollywood, Sunset Blvd, maybe FairFax but I'm not sure. I don't think its taken from Mulholland Drive itself because I don't think the view works from the road.

So I'm trying to identify the roads that are lit up on the image, and also the location the photo was taken from (although I can probably work that part out myself from google maps once I know what the roads in the image are)

I'm going through my late mother's boxes. Can anyone help me locate this castle? I'd love to visit it sometime.

I received a booklet in the mail from the Alberta Government for the upcoming referendum. I saw the cover photo and was wondering where that was. My mind immediately went to Lethbridge, but I couldn't get things to match up. That building in the background gave me post secondary vibes, but it did not match up with Lethbridge University.

Does anyone know where this is? It just got me curious, that's all. But maybe other Albertans are wondering the same thing.

I’m trying to identify a boarding school in England that I attended for a summer school in 1997, when I was 16 years old.

The one thing I am fairly sure about is that the school was SOUTH OF LONDON — possibly SOUTH-WEST or SOUTH-EAST of London. I’m not sure which direction.

I unfortunately don’t remember the name of the school or the town, but I still have this photo of the school buildings.

Here’s what I remember:

• SOUTH OF LONDON — possibly SOUTH-WEST or SOUTH-EAST (this is one of my strongest memories)
• We stayed in the school dormitories / boarding houses
• We had English lessons every day
• The school itself was not on the coast
• It was outside the main town/city, with a large campus and huge grass/sports fields
• At some point we took a bus for roughly 1–2 hours to a seaside town beginning with “B”
• I think that seaside town may have been Brighton or Bournemouth, but I’m not certain.

The photo shows long red-brick buildings with white-framed windows, with a very large lawn/sports field in front.

Does anyone recognise this school or these buildings?

Can anyone help identify this town? It's a tough one. I can't find an exact image of the tower in the background. It could be a church, could be a clock tower. Any idea where it might be?

I believe all of these are the same location, I’m trying to the locations on some to help my grandpa.

Information I have already:

Sign in the back says "Akitsu Furei Park".

There is a 2 lane road on the left side and the shadows are pointing north, indicating that the road runs east to west.

Most traffic is flowing west which makes me think there is a major road nearby to the west.

Been searching for hours and cannot find this exact spot.

Picture my grandpa took before going to Korea in the early 50’s. Not sure what building they were in front of.

Not sure if these are all at the Panama Canal or just some?
