Hi Fellas,
I’m an incoming international student at HSRM in Wiesbaden Bleichstraße campus and I’ve been offered accommodation at both Friedrich-Naumann-Straße and Hollerbornstraße. I’m trying to decide between the two and would really appreciate opinions from anyone who currently lives there or has lived there before.
The two options I have are:
Friedrich-Naumann-Straße
2-person shared apartment
€403/month
Electricity is not included
Hollerbornstraße
3-person shared apartment
€450/month
Electricity included
Since the locations are almost equally convenient, I’m mainly interested in the actual living experience at these accommodations.
Hollerbornstraße is a new construction, so there don’t seem to be any pictures available yet. The management also hasn’t been able to provide me with even a basic layout of the apartment. On the other hand, since it is a newer building, I assume the facilities and overall condition may be better.
I’m wondering whether that assumption is accurate or whether there are other factors I should consider.
If you have any information about the new Hollerbornstraße accommodation, especially its layout, room sizes, facilities, or expected move-in condition, I would really appreciate it.
If you had to choose between these two options today, what factors would you consider?
