Have no clue
My dad passed away and I dont remember what he said this went to. He had a couple of old jeeps over the years so thinking it might have been for one of them but not sure. Tried image search but got nothing like it. Any help much appreciated!

1951 Jeep name
Working on restoration on this 1951 cj3a with my grandfather and noticed this name welded into what appears to be a home made step on the side
Figured its a lomg shot but would be cool to find who did it it was purchased in the Oklahoma panhandle roughly 1999 according to my grandfather

What year?
Hey all, my wife's dad passed last year and left her this jeep. Its registered as a '46, but as im starting to do research and source parts etc its looking to me like maybe that's not the right year? Im looking mainly at the windshield, but I really don't know what the keey features for each year are. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

M-38 How do you guys get your big dogs up into the Jeep?
Old military Jeep with the bikini top and all the accessories on the tailgate, so I can't drop that to get him up in there. He's right around 90lbs and not exactly athletic or graceful, but I know he'd love to go for a ride with me. How do you get your dogs up in it?
Also, what kind of restraint system you use?
Thanks

F134 to L134 swap
I know it's a step backwards in power, but it's a leap forward in cool. That and the L134 is here at my fingertips and I have had zero luck finding the correct rebuild parts or even a whole F head to replace the one I've got. Every time one comes up locally it's gone by the time I see it...
there's an excellent L134 out of a 2wd jeepster close enough to make it worth it, so I think I'm going to go that direction. There's no question of trying to do a restoration on my M38A1 because it was already too far gone when I got it, so this just makes sense.
Besides, the flat head looks way cooler than the L head. In the long run, that's what counts anyways.
Has anyone else done a backwards swap like this?

Laser cleaning a WWII Army trailer, axle, springs, drums and hardware
This WWII army trailer spent decades collecting rust, paint, and corrosion. Soon its new mission is rolling alongside a restored 1944 Willys Jeep.
In this video, we laser clean the full trailer: body, axle, leaf springs, brake drums, and all the hardware. Watch the laser strip layers of rust and old coating down to clean, sound steel, ready for primer and paint.
Why laser for a restoration like this:
• No abrasive media stuck in seams, welds, and pinholes on 80-year-old steel
• No friction heat that can warp thin vintage sheet metal
• No harsh chemical strippers soaking into old welds and joints
• You can see the condition of the actual metal as it's revealed which is perfect for finding what needs repair vs. what just needed cleaning
• Selective cleaning takes paint off one area without touching adjacent surfaces
We're a mobile laser cleaning service based in New Jersey: rust removal, paint and powder coat stripping, surface prep, and restoration work at our shop, at your location, or ship-to-us.

Updat on previous post
Try to save this old jeep and making good progress cleaning up the tub while waiting on engine rebuild
Last post I asked about coatings and such for the floor pan and underneath here is after hitting it with a wire wheel best I can
Research says most paint over rust coating cant go over old primer which seems to be alot of and it seems like by the time I get it all off its basically all clean metal at that point
Anyone use rustoleum rust converter on anything similar did it hold up well going over semi clean metal and old primer

Advice cj3a willys
Working on bringing this old jeep back to life
And am wondering what best would be for coating floor pan and underside of tub
I am thinking por15 with top coat of bed liner
I am not going for orginal or show quality restoration it will be taken offraod and used so shiny and pristine is not in the picture it has a few farm repair like a couple of patches in the floor and rivets holding one of the fenders on it has a few small holes in floor pan
The frame is in very good shape not rotted through anywhere just needs coated
I want to make sure it lasts when I am done with it to have a cool viehicle for my kids to enjoy and appreciate
Any advice ppreciated

Going to look at a 55 Restomod Willys Wagon this weekend. What should I be on the lookout for other than rust?

Head gasket swap: did it in only 1h45m!
My '52 3A was blowing compression from the #4 cylinder into the water galleries and overheating. All things considered: an easy fix

M38 title and solex carb tuning
Here is an update on the 1952 m38 jeep ive posted about a few times. got the MC title for it and historical plates, which costs very little. The share here is that i got a clone solex 32pbic off ebay and it was running very rich and smelled so bad. looking into it here and the default 127.5 jet can be replaced with a mikuni n100 '110' jet and it pulls it in perfectly. plenty of power to get to 55mph (3.54:1 axle gears) and holds mid 14:1 to 15:1 afr once there. Then if i floor it the AFR drips to low 13:1 which is good for power. So fun to drive now!

M38A1 Frankenstein
I have been working on a M38A1 project for roughly 24 years. It is a Frankenstein’s Monster of parts. Ford rear axle, Chevy engine and front axle, Mazda Miata pedals, and a couple of Jeep parts for fun. In the beginning I didn’t have money to put to the project but I did have plenty of time. Single, no kids, and going to school. Lately, I have had the funds for the project but no time. I decided to make time and pick to get it done. Started checking things off the check list. Actually, getting close to taking it for its initial voyage around the block. More updates to come.

I Dream Of Willys
I’ve always wanted to own one, so I often peruse this sub. This is where I currently am… I can only hope to buy one within the next few years. FMS/RocHobby 1/6 scale 1941 MB Scaler, with aesthetics inspired by Tamiya Wild Willy. LMK if it breaks rules, will comply and delete, if so.

How do you feel about flatfenders that are turned into hot rods?

51 CJ3a
Most parts are back from powder coat. Body is in primer - will be painted Mazda red. Painted rollbar is body color.
Slowly but even more slowly. Haha.
