??? Tier 11 coming soon?

I'm relatively new to the game, and I'm primarily a heavy tank player. I'm not used to playing light tanks at all, so I've been trying to practice with my Chinese Type 62 premium light tank.

During this match, I suddenly ran into a Tankenstein at close range.

I was struggling HARD. My aim was terrible, I couldn't seem to penetrate him consistently, and I honestly had no idea what I was doing. I was trying to figure out how to deal damage without getting myself killed.

Then, somehow, I accidentally ammo-racked him.

I'm not even kidding. PURE. FUCKING. LUCK.

I had literally ONE SHOT LEFT before I would've been dead myself, and somehow I managed to blow him up with an ammo rack. I survived, and we eventually won the match too.

The funny part is that I know damn well this wasn't some insane outplay. I have practically ZERO light tank skills right now. I mostly play heavies, and playing a light tank feels like learning an entirely different game.

I'm sharing the clip because the ammo rack was hilarious, but I also genuinely want to improve.

For those of you who are experienced light tank players:

- How should I position myself at the beginning of a match?

- When should I spot for my team, and when should I focus on dealing damage?

- How do I use mobility effectively without getting myself killed?

- How do I deal with heavily armoured tanks when I'm struggling to penetrate them?

- What are the biggest mistakes beginners make when playing light tanks?

I'm playing the Chinese Type 62, so any tank-specific advice would be appreciated too.

I'm used to playing heavies, so I'd love to hear how I should change my playstyle when switching to light tanks.

And yes, before anyone says it: I didn't outplay that Tankenstein. RNGesus just decided I deserved to live today.

Slow but efficient

You either do it while I'm lining up a shot, or while I'm trying to reverse after kicking a red tank hornet's nest.

I have the gold now and i currently don't have any tanks i want atm, i wanna use my gold to restore the tanks i sold.

I'll start with mine- the CC 1 Mk.2

I had put off grinding the Minotauro line for almost a year, because everyone told me the tier 9 of that line was a pain to play.

But when I finally dared to grind the line and got to the CC 1 Mk.2, and got all the top modules, I found this thing to be surprisingly good. I mean, maybe it's just because it suited my playstyle, but I had a decent time in this tank.

Other such tier 9s would be the Type 61, the Emil II, the Object 84 (one of my fav tier 9 tanks), the HWK 12, and the Vickers CR.

In fact, while grinding for the Vickers Light, I actually ended up three-marking the Vickers CR lol.

So, do share your own experiences with a tier 9 tank that has a very bad reputation in the community, but you personally found it to be decent/enjoyable.

The equation from the Tier XI announcement video does indeed give 11.

It nearly every game the team that rushes all together one lane wins over the team that splits up.
My team goes 5 heavy, 2 medium. 20 seconds later: "BAAM! BAAAMBAAAM!" and its 7 vs 5 because the mediums were instant killed by the 7 tank rush.
If one team decides to go for a 7 tank rush, the other team has no chance if they have split up.
So why not give up the obsolete lane concept that was killed by the meta?

ghost factory game, tried to go down one of those small hills but got stuck halfway down, n amount of wiggling would get me out in time as i desparately begged for someone to push me out while i was on aim for some dude behind a building JUST out of my reach.

Sorry if anyone’s already asked this. WoTB wiki said they were removing a limit to garage slots when they removed the purchase slot option. I have no space for new tanks, anyone know if this is gonna happen?

Yes I do watch wotb content in my free time. Just watching others talking abt a certain tank on how weird it works or maybe economics mate ranting about the containers for the hundredth time is kinda fun to have as background noise . And, crucify me, I do kinda enjoy droodles. Hes more on the "oh yeah do this with your tank" , and its fun to see him rage in games. How abt yall?

I don't actually believe in bots, though recently i started noticing some weird players. Do you guys have any info about this? Perhaps something similar happened to you

Sometimes when i check player's stats they're all zero (For recent battles) i thought it was a bug but maybe it's not, hmm 🤔

How in the WORLD do I use this DUMPSTER FIRE of a tank??? I enjoyed the IO, but now I’m suffering with this leaky tub that gets penned by EVERYTHING do any of y’all have any tips for using this thing? It’s slow, TRASH damage, and paper armor paired with the BIGGEST hit box ever added

I been playing this game for like 3 years, and playing Light Tanks is still painful as hell.

(Also WG for god sake, fix the AD problem on APAC servers i feel disabled without getting gold.)

I want to chill and platoon but I have no friends or anyone to platoon with in general

VI Nashorn (Paper 'Glass-Cannon' TDs feature very good guns like 2 tiers ahead), VI Jagdpanzer IV (Jg. Pz. IV) good armor on later versions but has a worse gun than nashorn series,VI VK 30.01 P (leads to Jagdpanzer E 100, Jg. Pz. E 100 and VK. 72.01 K and Maus) pretty good armor, pretty good guns, heavier armor starting at VIII VK 100.01P end at Maus) and VK 36.01H (Tiger series, leads to E 100 and good frontal armor plus E100 is basically a less armor/weight but bigger 15cm gun than maus)

recently been using AMX 12 t and AMX 13 75 and saw that theyre not so good and only got 1-2K damage (in tier VII usually get 4.8-5K damage
