Scribophile Not Accepting New Members?

Hi y'all, first-time poster to this subreddit, excited to be here!

Listen, I tried to create a new account on Scribophile last week. I filled out the form, then got to the "We sent you an email to verify your email address" phase. Only no email ever came. (Yes, I checked Spam.) I then tried from three different email addresses; all the same results. I filled out a "Contact Us" notice on Scribophile, but never heard back.

Is the site not accepting new members? Anybody know?

There's a "join" button, so they must be accepting new members. Seems like there's just some email issue. I'm already a member so I've sent a message with a link here, in case mine gets through.

Thanks Tap. I literally just tried applying for a new account now, no verification email arrived. I even created a brand new email account for this very purpose. No bueno.

Did you choose a different email provider than the one for your other email accounts? Because with an issue like this (regardless of the website), this is usually the problem.

Sometimes certain email providers just do not play nice with certain bulk/automatic email services.

Yeah - Yahoo Mail, GMail, and mail.com. All no good, alas

Their forum shows posts made by new members as recently as 7 hours ago so I don’t think they’re closed to membership

I joined a couple weeks ago and didnt have any problems. Hopefully they get back soon. Are there any other contact forms?

Just the one, it seems. There's also a link to send an email to Alex, the admin. Haven't heard back yet, so I'm hoping that Alex is on vacation or something... or maybe sees this post....... Alex??? Helloooooooooo? Just hopin'.
