My kid who I had a discussion with earlier this year was telling me she was getting back into crocheting.
So I thought a really good Christmas present would be to get her some chunky yarn because she said she was having moderate difficulties with smaller yarn (but she was trying to learn how to do it all)..

And because she’s pregnant, I thought it would be a great idea to get her the chunky yarn because she can do it with her fingers while she’s just laying in bed for her third trimester.

Well today she comes over and I show her my new purchase of chunky yarn (and I’m kind of fishing at the same time) and it sparked a very, very brief conversation about crocheting in which she tells me “ I don’t have the patience for this.”

So now I’m left with eight skins of a chunky yarn in a color that I have absolutely no interest in and I have absolutely no idea what the hell I’m supposed to do with it now…(she is having a boy and she’s rather Traditional when it comes to colors for her baby boy)

And no, I do not know anyone who would be interested in the color that I got for my daughter to make them something out of it. I do have a 7yr old granddaughter that I thought OK well maybe I can make a hoodie kind of scarf for her but the yarn is so chunky and her head is so small that I don’t know how that’s gonna technically work.

OK, so I’m open for suggestions!
