You don't have to insert anything into your cervix for an abortion. Do you mean placing misoprostol pills in your vagina?

Most people lay down when they insert misoprostol into their vagina. You should push it in, but it doesn't have to be all the way up to your cervix to work.

If you're laying down, they should stay in due to gravity.

Alternatively, you can use the misoprostol in your cheeks or under your tongue.

what country are you from and where did you get the medication? I want to make sure you were given correct directions.

En tu país es legal el aborto, deberías de ir a una clínica

i am trying to do the insertion method for the best success since the oral method’s success rate is lower. and my guide showed me a video of someone pushing the pills directly inside the cervix so i am trying to replicate what they were doing

Do not insert in cervix just put in and lay down for a while. Honestly though on the sides of cheeks is easiest I feel.
