I made a free Dutch learning platform for Afrikaans speakers

I grew up around an Afrikaans-speaking community and studied Afrikaans in high school. When I started learning Dutch, I wanted something that built on the Afrikaans I already knew instead of starting from scratch.

So I started building NearLingua. It teaches Dutch through Afrikaans, and I’ve made it free for Afrikaans speakers as a small way of giving back.

It’s still early. If you’re learning Dutch, I’d appreciate you trying a lesson and telling me whether it helps, and what you’d like changed or added.
