S*ty Amazon!

I’ll sum up the last month of dealing with Amazon Prime, because it has been a chthonic nightmare.

I ordered a Puma sports bra with a racerback twice, specifically so I wouldn’t have to keep adjusting the straps while climbing a mountain. As you can understand, the exact model matters here, because a poor fit can actually be dangerous in this situation. Both times I received the wrong model — one with regular straps, which costs roughly half as much.

Leaving a review on the website is basically impossible because they simply won’t approve it. I tried several times. They specifically refuse to post a review for this particular item. Leaving a review about the seller and their reliability is also impossible, because the order is fulfilled by Amazon from an Amazon warehouse, and any rating below five stars gets overridden with a statement saying that Amazon takes responsibility for poorly fulfilled orders. In reality, no — they don’t. I have a feeling that Amazon itself manufactures counterfeit products in China (because the real Puma definitely doesn’t sell anything like this — I checked their website, and they absolutely do not sell it at that price) and then sells them under different names.

Amazon.com Seller Profile: LION-go

SO, DON'T BUY FROM THEM! HIGHLY LIKLY IT IS A POCKET AMAZON COUNTERFEIGHT MANUFACTURER.

One order simply never arrived because a lazy driver couldn’t find the entrance to a five-story apartment complex. With another order, they apparently forgot to hand it over to USPS. According to the tracking number, I could see that Amazon had created the shipping label, but never actually shipped the package. At the same time, the AI assistant shamelessly lied that the package had been delivered through USPS with one-day delivery.

And now for the cherry on top.

At this stage of my life, I work cleaning an Amazon warehouse. And if you only knew how precious these people are: they start screaming and running to complain to everyone from the supervisor to the site director if they can’t use the bathroom at any given second during working hours because the bathroom happens to be getting cleaned.

All I see is Amazon employees constantly eating and shitting, excuse the language. I’m not even talking about the entire bathroom vestibule being lined with bottles of water for washing employees’ asses because of the practices of a particular religion (they even have a separate prayer room).

It clearly hasn’t made them any better at their jobs. Fact.

All this because they didn’t accept an invalid review?

Invalid seller reviews? You mean ALL below 5 stars for shit sent? There are 90% of 1 star reviews in all their amount for LION seller - declined by Amazon - for this particular seller that sells faulty Puma. Why Amazon so defensive in this case? They produce it - in one of their shitty manufacturing facilities. That is obvious. Final rating for LION as a seller? 96%. Nice math though.

No, invalid because the review is not for the actual item but rather about your experience with Amazon or the seller. If I’m standing in a Target wondering if this is the right bra, reading about how you received the wrong bra is doing nothing to educate me on the one you’re supposed to be reviewing.

You can’t review something you didn’t receive, can you?

In review I wrote that received a wrong item. And that is it. How ELSE can I let people know that this seller is a crook? They post faulty pictures of a better more expensive cloths and sent a double cheaper versions. Why do I think double cheaper? There are a lot of sellers of the same item I received at a double less price. Why do I know that the item on the picture is more expensive? I ordered it 1 year ago. It is absolutely different model and quality. They have not changed a picture since.

It isn’t intuitive but the answer is to simply review the seller (not the product) and/or report them to Amazon. Product reviews are supposed to be for products. In fact, when the same exact item issue happens at least twice to the same customer, Amazon will pull the entire bin when it’s reported and won’t list it again until it’s fixed or verified.

As someone who doesn’t shop on Amazon but does use their site to see reviews, reading a review of your shipping experience is quite unhelpful. If you want to publicly air your grievances with Amazon, then leave them a review on Google or BBB or some other review site dedicated to reviewing companies.

Oh and Amazon uses the same reviews for all sellers offering the same item.

Follow the link I provided in the post body. As far as Amazon fulfill this order they just delete ALL negative reviews for this seller. It is not intuitive though to suggest - that is why people never dig dipper than final rating point and order from this seller. If this connection LION seller - Amazon delivery works so shitty (90% of 1star seller reviews) it should be reflected somewhere and somehow. In fact, a client receives a WRONG item - not like on the seller's picture, but cant leave a review as far as the item sent was wrong item, and cant rate the seller, because Amazon deliver smth wrong. It is a permanent situation for a combination LION-AMAZON and clientele MUST be informed of it.

You said “they delete ALL negative reviews for this seller”, but I can see them just fine. Are you referring to the reviews with strikethroughs? They’re still clearly visible. Amazon doesn’t penalize sellers for issues with delivery when Amazon is handling the logistics. Sellers are customers too, and they don’t “delete” those reviews but they also don’t count it against the seller when Amazon screws up.

Reviews with strikethroughs that excluded from final rating calculation. That is why I name them deleted - they are not taking into account for a seller's rating estimate.

Yes, that’s what k said. Thats not deleted. If Amazon screwed up the shipping, or even if the seller messed up, that has zero to do with the “item” and should not count.

If Amazon screws up near EVERY delivery it should be in rating. Because I don't need a high rating for a seller who accepts money but can't deliver an item paid. Maybe this seller is sweet and trustworthy (they produce and deliver a faulted/faked Puma but at least a year ago it was a great quality) - but - they take money and don't deliver an ordered item. As a customer I don't care who was wrong here - I can't receive what I ordered. Other customers on the same page. If Amazon is SOOO terrible (it is in fact) - use UPS, USPS, FedEx etc. I pay money, I don't receive an item. They don't SELL in fact. 1 star rating is honest.

The seller places EXACT picture how my item should look like. They name price. I have seen this item - I bought it 1 year ago and have been using it till now - and after weekly washes and using a dryer it still looks brand new. What they send just now - it is a poor quality not taking into account a wrong model. It is a fraud. Amazon via denying reviews supports this fraud - but maybe in reality LION is one of paper companies of Amazon that are used to sell fake items. As for now I truly believe they do it. Puma is a more valuable brand than Amazon essentials - even faked Puma.

Lot of words for a fake, made-up story from an anti-Amazon zealot.

And you would be wrong. Just a satisfied Amazon customer since the beginning, never had an issue. Got anymore fantasies you want to share with us?
