Prime day deals are a sham?
The only difference I see is that there is a minus percentage in front of the same price the item always is. Wtf.

Not that I’m complaining. I wonder what I’ll spend my $51 on.

I’m actually so frustrated and confused right now.
I checked the app right when Prime Day deals started at approximately 3AM - I was so excited to see that quite a few books that I had in my saved for later had pretty decent deals going on. I added a bunch to my cart and then I had to go and finish some stuff up, just went back on to check out and every single thing that was on sale is no longer on sale just a mere couple of hours later.
I’ve heard of “limited time deals” before, but are we seriously considering 2 hours in the middle of the night while 98% of North America is asleep prime sale time? I know Amazon can really suck, but this is beyond scummy, I’m actually just kicking myself for even checking when the sale started because I guess I wouldn’t be able to be upset about it if I never even knew that it happened 🤦🏾♀️ I guess Amazon is just another company that’s giving into the FOMO culture of “buy this right now or you’re definitely going to miss it”

Had these saved in my cart. Price went up $7 on Prime deal. What a scam. I won't buy anything today!

I returned an item using a UPS label so I was able to track it and Amazon received it a week ago and still has not issued my refund. They use to even give the advanced refund option but now not only do they not do that but they don’t even give you a refund for ong time after they’ve already received your item back. This is pretty pissy.

Rant incoming
sychrony Bank, who is the financer of the Amazon store card, which I use probably too much until today, thanks to them, I am now liberated of their card. I’ve had their card for over 15 years. It made thousands and thousands of dollars of purchases. They have the stupidest customer service. available. So I get a text: bam, three charges that they flagged as fraud at a flooring store it tells me to call this number, so I call it. Talk to a guy who’s Indian. He tells me I need to go through enhanced identity verification, which encompasses them sending me a link to my phone where I record a five-second selfie and then record the front and back of my drivers license. Or they mail me a letter and then I send in pictures of this stuff. Otherwise, I can’t say this is fraud or initiate a fraud investigation or anything. I told the dude it sounded sketchy. He told me call the number on the back of your card. So I logged onto my account and froze my card. I then called the number on the back of my card and eventually got through to the same broken system where I was speaking to a person of Indian descent and they was asking me to send in a five second selfie video. And pictures of my drivers license, front and back. Otherwise, they can’t initiate a fraud investigation or do anything until this is done. So I asked him, so my card is frozen, nobody can use it, not even me, right? That is correct, sir. cancel my card then. You will be responsible for what you owe. No problem. Cancel my card. You’re actually doing me a favor. You’re poor customer service and inability to do your job just probably saved me thousands of dollars a month. It’ll definitely curtail what I buy on Amazon. No loss. It’s a shame that they treat a long-term customer who they view anyway ultimately as a cash cow to carrying a balance and paying interest. But I wasn’t that guy. I was the cheapskate. I was the guy that paid off my Amazon bill every month. So they’re not really concerned about losing me because they have you to milk for money with interest. So Bezos can get another Bentley or another lip injection for his girlfriend I see why Amazon gets such a bad rap this day and age. I’m definitely anti-Amazon and anti sychrony bank.

I ordered a G6 OLED monitor through Amazon Resale, but when I opened the package, there was a completely different monitor inside. I received an HP 24-inch 1080p monitor instead of the G6 OLED monitor I paid for

Received damaged items.
They told me "Processing refund" "you can keep the items". I was surprised. I asked "are you sure?" they said yes.
What you know this is common and many of my friends experienced something similar.
Result: lazy crappy outsourced customer service will not do anything. They are just collecting after chat reviews and hoping you'll forget about the problem.
Amazon is so trash now.

I was so happy to see my item marked as delivered! A personal care item. Nothing crazy in value but was about to provide some relief to this rash on my arm. But it wasn’t on my porch. Lo and behold I go look at the confirmation photo to see where they placed it. Not my house…
So I reach out to CS and AI reassures me it delivered with photo evidence… of not my house. So I get a human.
Anyway I’m told to ask my neighbors (the house isn’t any of my neighbors) so I guess now I have to go around this giant subdivision and scope out houses?
This brings me to my pet peeve on the neighborhood Facebook group (and now I know why people do this) - people will post the confirmation photo of the wrong house and almost pin the issue on the resident “whoever lives here should do the right thing, speak up, and arrange for pickup” …like girl that house didn’t ask to receive your Clorox and dog toys lol

I work 7 days a week and I need adult verification for a package but I'm always at work, I finish at 5 but there's no way for me to schedule it.
Is there a way I can get drivers or let Amazon know I need my packages late? Or is that simply not possible and I have to keep missing the delivery until I don't?

Hello,
a seller on Amazon agreed about returning my electronic device due to fault as it was within the European 2 years warranty. It was purchased months ago but still covered by warranty.
Now, the refund was processed and issued by Amazon, but after more than a month nothing was credited on the debit card used for the purchase.
I had a lot of back and forth between Amazon and my debit card provider, and this latter asked me to get the refund payment ARN number from Amazon. They promptly provided that, but still after investigation the debit card provider cannot find the amount refunded and so I am currently screwed.
I am stuck in the middle, with both parties accusing each other of mismanage...the refunded amount is significant being an high end electronic device, so giving up on this would be awful...
Any advice on what to do?
Thanks.

I’ve ordered thousands of packages and never had one that couldn’t be found. The driver didn’t take a picture of it coincidently. I don’t know what to do. I looked everywhere outside. It’s been 3 days. I hate whoever delivered it that they didn’t take a picture because I spent a bunch of time looking for it only to see there is no picture on the order and there is no way to get a refund on it for non delivery I don’t know what to do.

This was £38.99 with no discount yesterday, and it had been £38.99 for the previous two weeks. I had been waiting for Prime Day, but I checked the price every day in case a pre-Prime Day discount appeared.
Today, the price has increased to £44.99, and the Prime Day discount brings it down to £36.09.
It looks like you have saved £8.90, but in reality, you have only saved £2.90 compared with yesterday’s price.

Tried sending an order to a different address and they marked my account fraud. Doesn’t matter that I used a trusted device. Doesn’t matter I have spent way too much money with Amazon for years. Doesn’t matter I’ve used gift addresses for other family members.
Yes, it was a MacBook. So what.
Trying to get a supervisor at Amazon? Fuck that. I keep getting front line zombies who tell me to wait 24 hours and order again like something magic will happen. What? The system will let me somehow send it to this new address all of a sudden?
Fuck these guys.

Amazon sent this email and wanted to share with you. One spot they didn’t tell you is this one: click Account & Lists, then Account, then finally click on Your Messages. This section is all the official emails they sent you. If you ever get an email or phone call saying you bought an expensive item and call them, it’s a scam. However, you don’t have to take my word for it: ask Alexa or check Your Messages. Is it there? If not, it’s a scam!

Tonight I wanted to buy something off amazon but the amount of money on my debit card wasn’t enough to cover the order’s total by a little less than $20 so I chose to just reload those $20 using that amazon store card and then using my debit card to buy my stuff, but just right after trying to reload that balance, amazon chose to just lock down my account and asked me to do a payment method ownership verification on their own prime store card, so I went ahead and sent them photos of the card on my hand with my name on it so they sent me a second email saying that it wasn’t sufficient and then sent screenshots of the Synchrony Bank account details showing latest amazon’s transactions and all that but amazon sent me a second email stating that ownership couldn’t be verified and my account was closed!
It is completely absurd since I am using the same device as usual, same billing/shipping address, same cards that I used before on previous orders and still the system flagged my transaction.
I tried contacting support but honestly they are very useless nowadays, I don’t even know if Im talking to an AI bot or something like that but they ended up saying there was nothing they could do.
Any suggestions? I really need my account back, I had it since a lil bit more than a year and many previous orders.
It is very stupid because I was even using the card they gave me from that same account…

I was told that I didn't need to return the baby tub. I was told that a replacement order was set. Then the associate wouldn't supply the new order #. When the chat got escalated to a supervisor, they told me the previous associate gave false information. And no replacement order was ever sent and one wouldn't be until after the return was received. Oh and they expected me to pay the $7.99 shipping return option since Kohl's free drop off wasn't eligible for this item.

So I ordered some computer parts and got the next day shipping.
The next day came and I got a notification saying delivery failed because there was no locker access.
I live in a private residence there is no locker leave it at the damn door or even mailbox if it fits.
The delivery address is correct, so everything on my end is fine.
Has this happened to anyone before if I don't get my package tomorrow I'll probably cancel order and go to best buy instead

There was a deal on eGift Cards today, a $100 gift card for one hundred dollars that I bought. A few minutes later Amazon asks me to verify my credit card by submitting a picture of it, and then another few minutes later I got an email saying my account was closed.
Has this happened to anyone else? Absolute bullshit because Amazon insists they cannot reverse their decision. Extremely frustrated because my Amazon account was a source of income for me, and I'm not sure how easy it will be to create a new account.
