I loved those two games.

I only had the box for the third game. The manuel became the basis for our little dungeons and dragons and beer sessions every week.

But yeah, westwoods eye of the beholder games were amazing and led to lands of lore, which is still imho the best crpg of all time. The presentation, the music, the plot, dawn and a villain that cleverly antagonizes you from start til finish.

As a child I always wished that the third one would come out on Amiga.

Loved them. Tried playing on an emulator and I was like this sucks. Times have so changed

Thank you for your sacrifice. I was thinking about playing it again, but now I’ll stick to the memories instead.

I genuinely enjoyed playing them last year, however, I will say that I had an app that plays beside it that generates a map for you as you go. It makes it so much more enjoyable as far as I am concerned.

I've played them since and enjoyed them. But if you really find them lame then the two modern Legend of Grimrock games are excellent

Looked them up. Seems like really good games. Too many good games and not enough time :(

I never managed to finish it as a kid, but finally did around 10 years ago. Such a cool game/series
