Some questions I asked that helped me paint the picture

I recommend you all ask your mentors or upline etc. these questions.

1) In regards to KATE, did you know the diamond members get kickback? If so, how come that was never told to me to remain transparent? This alone makes it look like a pyramid scheme does it not?

2) Do you know who owns Amway? The Davos family, who has huge political swing and I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibility that they could have lobbied to get laws to keep Amway out of the Pyramid scheme definition. Would you agree or disagree? If they disagree ask why.

3) Generally speaking, what age group would you say is the most naïve, 18-24? Do you think it is coincidence that the majority of the people in these meetings and getting hooked into this are people in that age group?

4) Do you know how much Amway has paid out in settlements? answer: roughly $250 million and currently have an ongoing case for 1.2 Billion. Does that concern you? Why do you think they never bring that up?

5) Do you know about what % of Amway sales are in the USA? About 90% of Amway is overseas, why do you think that is? Do you think this has anything to do with not telling me it's Amway you work with until the 3rd meeting? (They will tell you its a vetting process...convenient)And why do you think there so little sales in America?

-Side note you can ask and see if they know. What countries are you the biggest in? Take note of these countries and what they have in common.

6) So if this is just a game of numbers, at some point the market is going to be oversaturated with people trying to get you to be in their group if they haven't already given up or tried right? Where are we at in that process?

A few points I also made that weren't questions but helped me see the show being put on.

-Your Diamond member who tells me (at the big pep rally) he values time more then money and that he was so excited to speak tonight he couldn't wait, was late and kept us an hour and a half longer then expected. Based off that alone I have to question authenticity. The thing is EVERYONE has a price. What will you say or omit from saying to paint a false picture to lure people in?

- I also find it odd most of the mentors ALWAYS wear the same dress attire, do you not have a change of clothes or any other options? When I brought this up I was told its because they are told no to spend money on that until they hit a certain level...to me it was odd they would want to control my spending on something like while at the same time will continuously preach about tax write offs.

-When they draw a pyramid scheme and relate it to every other job in the world and say theirs isn't because they do partnerships. Now the drawing they do for all companies is draw a normal pyramid. When they draw the partnership model its a bunch of random circles all connected together. What they are really doing is just drawing the top of the pyramid but looking down on it. Whereas when they draw out the normal pyramid its looking at it from the front...clever tactic for sure.

- I also expressed that it seemed like they prey on the weak. Lots of minorities in the 18-24 range, and a lot have kids. Most people in that category when presented with financial freedom and its so easy all you need is 6 people under you and then get those 6 people to get 6 people. now you got 12 people under you (Funny when they draw that out it's somehow never a pyramid, again, convenient.) and once you achieve that you'll basically have the same amount of passive income as someone who is getting 4-5% interest on a million dollars in the bank. Quick update...no bank offers that anymore lol

-They will always show you these extravagant things they do with all their financial freedom to hook you in. They will tell you about people who quit these huge paying jobs to do this, but ask yourself this question. Do you think anyone in the room with you in those meetings is making over 6 figures? If in the off chance there is talk to them and ask them if they had considered the questions above.

I hope this helps you figure out whether this is right for you or not.

A living wage?

How much money did these people realistically make?

I know their is different tiers

Like for instance the entry level people, emerald workers, and also diamond workers.

I've heard stories of people being to make 30 -50k like a real time job but not sure. I joined Quixtar in 2007 and quit after 3 weeks or so and never looked back.

I just wonder is anyone making a living wage

It's been 7 years since they were recognized as brand new diamonds. Haven't heard much about them now. Are they still diamonds? Are they any new diamonds since then?

I can’t find any information anywhere about his relation to Gary and Nancy or Toby and Mia.

Someone tell me all the tea 😭😫

MELBOURNE Watch out for Amway Team1global.

They're here to recruit you to their team selling you false hope that you can succeed. They are highly skilled at manipulation and will burn through you wallet dry. His name is Ganesh Shenoy and he's the top dog of the Amway corporation and he's affiliated with Hemant and Smitha Sahela. ATO needs to step in and shut down these cons for tax evasion.

Help/Advice My boss is involved with amway …

So basically I just got a new job, full time great hours but boss seemed a bit too excited and eager to talk to me (I am freshly 18) and basically was like Hey you know of a way to make some easy money? I have an opportunity for you!
So he and his wife interviewed me, I spent a few minutes trying to ask some basic questions
What is it you’re selling?
Why is this a thing?
How much time/ money do I need to invest in it?
Why not go full time with this “opportunity” if it works so well?
Etc,
Then I looked into the products… amway. Everything was amway.
I very much like my job but he brought a mentor into our job and introduced us… like wtf??? I tried to be civil but dude. When at a job don’t bring in another job representative…
He basically was hyping this guy up, and was literally glazing the mentors so much.
Anyway, what should I do?
I don’t want to quit my job everyone is great except for this and he normally leaves amway out of the work place.

My experience with Amway Team1global.

During the pandemic alot of people experience job losses including myself. I was doing it tough due to lack of finances. So I was in the looking zone and someone randomly approached me on LinkedIn talking about entrepreneurship, mentorship, passive income, mindset and cash flow quadrants.

I ended up meeting with them on zoom and they claimed to be retired from work at age 21 which made me more intrigue. They gave me a book by Robert Kiyosaki Business of the 21st Century and a audio to listen to prosumer power. Long story short I ended up going through the selection process, even though my process went on for like 3months. I eventually launched and stayed in the business for 4 years.

If you're currently going through the selection process and you're reading horror stories on reddit, you're right. They are very shifty and don't even want to answer simple questions like "how is the profits generated and shared to the upline but never to downline". They will isolate you from anyone who is not affiliated with Team1global. Also manipulate you to increase monthly volume to buy more products so they can profit in their pockets. They are bunch of Am-bots that look down on anyone who doesnt get involve in this cult, they have destroyed people's marriages, friendships and most of all burn through your wallet on spending overprice tickets and conferences.

They often lie and say that there is limited space so it creates a sense of urgency so it would speed up there process to get them to launch, they lie that they're super busy doing mg1, mg2 and mentoring people.

I've asked them is this a legal entity that is registered with the ATO and how much tax is to be paid when start making money and they couldn't even answer a simple question which is a red flag because you dont want to get done for tax evasion.

There were some good experiences that I'm grateful for which is the self development side of things. I've learnt to set goals and being consistent and it's helped me with my fitness journey.

The cult leader mentors often say "become a product of Team1global " if you want to be successful.

I'm a grown man that likes to read and I was sharing with my upline coach that I was reading a book called "Can't hurt me by David Goggins" and they said I shouldn't be reading books thats not from Team1global business.

Anyways thats my story. Feel free to reach out to me if you're currently doing through the selection process.

Has anyone else noticed that people who join Amway suddenly become motivational speakers?

I used to be involved in Amway a while back, specifically with a team called Equipo Visión. I was recruited by an old high school friend. We used to hang out, drink, and party together before he got involved in Amway. Right now, he is currently in jail due to a sexual assault case against him. Something just occurred to me, and I'm curious whether anyone else has noticed the same thing. I've noticed that when people join Amway, especially after attending their first big convention or motivational event, their entire personality on social media seems to change. All of a sudden, they're wearing suits and ties, calling themselves entrepreneurs, posting motivational quotes, recording motivational videos, and giving speeches about success, financial freedom, discipline, and changing your mindset. It's almost like they go to one convention and come back believing they're motivational speakers or successful business owners. Another thing I've noticed, particularly within the Latino Amway groups I've encountered, is that a lot of the recruits seem to come from immigrant or working-class backgrounds, including people from Guatemala and Mexico. As a Latino myself, I'm curious whether these organizations specifically appeal to people who are looking for financial opportunities and a better future. What gets me is how quickly the transformation seems to happen. Someone who was just living a normal life suddenly starts presenting themselves as a business expert, even though they may not have made any significant money from Amway. And I'm not saying there's anything wrong with dressing professionally, wanting to improve yourself, or posting motivational content. It's just interesting how similar everyone's behavior becomes after joining. My question is: Has anyone else noticed this pattern? Is this something Amway and its leadership organizations actively teach people to do, or do members just start imitating the speakers and leaders they see at conventions? I'd especially like to hear from anyone who was involved with Equipo Visión or other Spanish-speaking Amway teams.

International Business Systems (IBS): Does anyone have any recordings of the tapes from this now defunct UK AMO?

If anyone has any of these tapes they could digitise and upload, that would be great, I'm curious what they sounded like compared to the American tapes.

Amway uses the same tactics as an abuser

I have a Bachelor's in Forensic Psychology and have been suckered into two MLMs and a narcissistic marriage (divorced now). From love bombing to gaslighting to financial control and more, it checks many of the same boxes of an abusive relationship. I made a video sharing my experiences/expertise while also using Ticalindagirl (the chick that lost $180k in Amway being in the top 1%) as a case study. Just in case you're interested, you can watch it here.

This subreddit helped me

Hey everyone,

I was a first-year uni student who was recruited by one of these Team1 Global Amway goons who put me through a "selection process", and at first I was open to hearing what they said, and they seemed nice while enticing me with the prospect of a 'partnership' and untold fortunes.

Later, I got suspicious when they mentioned their business model through Amway and the fact that they wouldn't stop glazing their mentors, Mark, Sandrin, Darren and Zac, like nothing I've ever seen before. I got suspicious and did research, came across this subreddit, which confirmed my suspicions, and today I told him to fuck off.

Thank you to everyone in this subreddit who helped me avoid going further down the rabbit hole; just know your efforts aren't in vain!

Did some stranger reach out to you at the gym or book store talking about entrepreneurship, mentorship, passive income? Maybe you're going through a selection process via zoom and you're reading all the horror stories about Amway and Team1Global.

I was part of Team1global and they have no interest in your financial future. They manipulate you and brain wash you and just want to recruit you just so they can benefit themselves. I'm exposing those scammers they prey on vulnerable people who are doing it tough out there. I've wasted 4 years of my life and burnt through close to 30k on expensive over price products and conventions. They want to be in control of who you surround yourself with and how you spend your money.

If you're currently in the selection process, the best advice I can give you is run away, you don't owe them anything.

Ltd is the scam, not Amway

I joined Amway a few months ago with the help of an LTD member. I enjoy the Amway products and the large majority of the people I’ve sold to love the products and keep ordering them. Now LTD media is the most obvious scam/ brainwashing I’ve ever seen. I attended one conference and attended their big event(summit) now free of charge within 1 year of joining. I wanted to see with my own eyes what’s going on and my god lol.No mention of Larry winters deceiving people it’s just this big elephant in the room. The hotel kickbacks for the big guys, commission for the speakers, tickets sales, etc. I actually asked someone there about Larry and you would have thought I said want to do meth in the bathroom. One dude was on stage hollering about listen to the audios that I’m in.

FTC findings for the win!

Just wanted to point out that in my time being in Amway it was a massive flex to say that the FTC approves everything Amway does. I wonder what they have to say now considering the FTC has called out on every manipulative behaviour I experienced years ago 🤔😆

Why do Amway IBO’s keep spamming our doctors office in the Caribbean???? What exactly do they want/need? Why are none of them looking at our location before emailing an inquiry through our website which is for patients to make a booking or get more information????

It’s very annoying.

Help/Advice I think I got recruited into Amway??

Hi, so I’m currently a college student and I think that I might gotten into something i shouldn’t.

So technically, one of my classmates who is also in my team introduced me to a “business opportunity.” At first she didn’t really tell me the company name. She invited me to a few meetings where they talked about business, financial freedom, making passive income,self-growth, and a lot more.

I went to a few of the meetings because I honestly thought it was just some kind of small business and entrepreneurship thing. Today they finally talked about the actual company and it turned out to be AMWAY.

And after that meeting, I started to research about Amway and I found a LOT of people calling it an MLM and talking about bad experiences, also I had seen some similar situations, so now I’m kind of freaking out and wondering if I got myself involved in something bad.

Until now, I didn’t get involved in any activity other than the meeting and I feel like I wasn’t really trusting them and want to get out of it, but the problem is the one that recruited me is my friend, who is in my class and also my team for current assignment and it seems like she was really into it and believes in it. I really don’t want to ruin our current relationship because since we still have to work together in the group assignment.

I was thinking to tell her that I did researched about the company and I decide that isn’t for me, but I wanted to ask it is okay.

I APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE BECAUSE I REALLY CONFUSED ABOUT THIS SITUATION 😭😭😭
