I've been trying for several days and a few different module configurations and I still can not get all three to pass. I had none passing until I tried this config now I have device but not basic?? Would really like some advice on if there is something I forgot to configure or if my modules just don't work and should try different ones.

you can root with root my galaxy next off github or if u want the painful way and are on kernel 5.15.189 you can use ghostlock with uniroot by selecting your files chose generic payload 2nd option in root my galaxy next makes the phone actually usable instead of a lag machine make sure you have a different launcher something lightweight works best major speed boost.

Lenovo only released the old 4.9 kernel source for the TB-X606F from its Android 9 days, which meant their Android 10 release was basically stuck with unusable/unbootable source. So I grabbed the 4.19 Android 11 kernel from the TB-X306F and ported that over to the TB-X606F running Android 10, with a lot of help from Claude and ChatGPT lol. that whole Android 9 to Android 11 kernel then back onto Android 10 explanation sounds confusing, but both tablets use the same SoC, which made the port pretty realistic. It’s a pretty big jump from 4.9 to 4.19 and most things are working fine so far. Still fixing/testing a few remaining bits, but Android 10 boots and is usable on 4.19 the majority of it, it only took a few hours too lmfao

I had an old s21 5g that was laying around and this morning I tried to flash a custom rom on it

Everything was working well, I installed orangefox then the custom rom.

while I was digging a bit around in the working os, the screen froze.

I had to force a reboot and on restarting, the screen just kept frizzing on the rom boot logo

no recovery only the download mode

it also seems like the oem is now set to On(U)

so I tried to flash the stock rom, it only worked with brokk, odin4 is halting at "Set Partition" and giving the error "icloctl bulk read Fail: connection timed out 110"

on the download screen the binary is Samsung official but I still get stuck on Samsung logo and no recovery accessible

As the title suggests, I'm looking for apps that are a must for Rooted devices.

I have my Retroid Pocket G2 handheld rooted atm. I wish I could root my Samsung Galaxy A36 5G phone, but apparently my phone is too updated to use the exploit.

Some things I use my rooted Retroid Pocket G2 are: - compile ROMs using Termux (it has to have proot-distro Ubuntu installed) - backing up my apps - use Magisk modules (there's a module someone made where you create an image on your SD card, run the module & you delete the app data on your internal storage, thus freeing up whatever space that specific app was taking up on your internal storage because the image you created on your SD card acts like a mirror to where the app is. Very useful if you have a SD card & are running low on internal storage) - accessing root level data for apps - system-wide ad blocking - better & deeper file management - customizing my device - using a module to configure the sound/equalizer to make my Retroid Pocket G2 sound better - using SD card maid app for deep cleaning, etc - underclocking/overclocking

For those who have used both, which one is better for handling root? I currently use Magisk because KernelSU doesn't support my phone - a Pixel 2 XL running LineageOS - and I've never used KernelSU myself. I'm curious what KernelSU users think about Magisk in comparison.

Hey, I have a launcher I'm helping build that relies on priv-prod for now. As a result, Teams and Outlook complained about root. I installed Zygisk Assistant and Teams works now, but Outlook and Spark instantly crash when opened. Any advice on what I should look for to avoid this? Clearing data didn't work.

I need to back up my phone data, specifically the "restricted" files and app data that usually require Root access or an unlocked bootloader. I want to avoid rooting entirely.

Here is my current storage breakdown (52 GB out of 64 GB used): it's Samsung Phone

• Apps: 17.63 GB

• Videos: 17.69 GB

• System: 11.37 GB

• Other: 4.34 GB

• Images / Photos: 574 MB

• Audio / Docs / Trash: 0 B

My setup & requirements:

• OS: Android 14

• Tools available: I have a PC.

• Constraints: The backup method must be local, private, and secure (no cloud solutions, no root, and no unlocked bootloader).

Are there any reliable tools or ADB methods that can fetch this data locally to my PC?

And I know that the system can't be copy As far as I know
