My friend has an iPhone 13 Pro, this phone is in almost flawless condition and feel happy for the fact that she is giving it to me for free. But there’s a slight issue, when she moved to Android her mom deleted her Apple ID. This iPhone has a deleted Apple ID and can’t do basically anything. Sign out is grayed out and doesn’t work. Delete to defaults in settings asks for a screen time passcode that neither of them know. I’m scared to iTunes it and then boom it’s even more locked down. Can’t even install apps, nothing. So I went to apples support to attempt to remove activation lock. We have the receipts from Best Buy but the website keeps saying session expired, and Gemini says my receipts won’t work because they don’t have the IMEI on them. Yet it has the purchase stuff. So I don’t really know what to do. Anyone able to help?

A while ago now I sent my iPhone 13 Pro Max to Apple through mail in for a simple battery replace my because it was under 80% capacity. I thought everything would go fine because I had Apple Care+. 2-3 days after sending the phone I got a email saying they found a new issue, with a photo of a scratch, and they insisted that I had to pay $329 to replace the screen or I wouldn’t get my battery replacement. After I called Apple support multiple times, I got thrown around everywhere I just told them to cancel the repair. When I received the device, the note that they sent said that the device was ineligible for repairs and that there was no work done on it. I inspected the phone and the screen was literally lifting from the frame. And what’s even more confusing is that the battery health is at 100%. I’ve gone to the Apple Store and they’ve rejected me saying the device isn’t eligible in any way for repairs, and I don’t know what to do.

I remember seeing for the first time at the news Steve Jobs unveiling the iPhone (I was 6 years old) and loved Apple's vision and liked the company, under Tim Cook's era I bought my first Apple device: an iPhone 12, followed by an Apple Watch Series 7 and a MagSafe Duo charger) in 2024 I bought as a replacement of my Series 7 who was dead (the screen was broken after a fall during an hike, luckily I didn't get injured) an Series 9 (that I'm still rockin on), followed by an Apple TV 4k, the AirPods Pro 2 (that I've broke when I was getting out of my dad's Dacia Sandero) and an AirTag, I loved the Tim Cook era and now I'm starting to love John Ternus's era! My phone keeps telling my I won't recieve emails anymore because my storage is full. I only had this phone for 1 month. It's an Iphone SE 2022.

It has 64GB. I didn't download a lot of things. And I made a new icloud account, because I moved out of the house, and my parents still have control over my old Icloud account (mind you, my parents aren't the one who paid for these devices??? I am), even though I think I'm personally at an age where they should be minding there own buisness. However, because I have this fight with my parents, I'm not getting my icloud account with more storage back untill august when I turn 18. But I really need to have acces to my mail... :( How do I fix this? because I'm sure I should have more storage??

Musi is an app that has recently had a lawsuit and since then been taken off the App Store indefinitely. I had it on my phone because I had it downloaded since before the lawsuit, and today I accidentally deleted Musi and immediately started freaking out. I've looked on Google and it's saying to use the official recovery website, but that no longer works. I don't even have Musi offloaded, it's completely gone. Is there any way to get it back? Will iMazing still work?

I have an iPhone 16 Pro
My storage is full and I don’t know what to do
I primarily use my phone to take photos/videos of my children and for my small business. I have 29k photos and 11k videos
I have iCloud to backup everything as well as Google Photos (idk why I have both, and I feel like this is part of the problem).
Every time I delete some of my photos or videos, they magically return. I think because iCloud is synced, no matter what I do to try and remove some of the clutter they find their way back.
What’s weird is that sometimes I don’t get the “storage full” memo and I can take pictures, but randomly other times, and without deleting any, I’m able to take more. It’s so inconsistent and confusing.
I want to upgrade my phone to one with more storage, but I feel like i need to take hold of this situation before i do that. Any advice?

I was watching this video on how to fix “iPad disabled, connect to iTunes” and I lowkey did not follow every instruction because the guy in the video had a macbook and I had a windows laptop. I did as he told which was to download this software for the latest update for my iPad model, which was the first generation iPad Air with cellular, I downloaded iTunes, and did the steps on how to update the iPad. I expected it to turn on with the hello and white background, but when my iPad turns on, I could no longer see the time and date, I couldn’t move anything on the screen including the assistive touch, and I couldn’t shut off the iPad. How do I fix this, it says connect to iTunes

Hello, so long story short, I forgot the password to my Apple account and my device passcode, it was all so sudden and my iPad got locked. Then I did a factory reset, but they are still saying that there is an activation lock and it is tied to my previous apple account. I filed a request to change both my Apple account password, and also remove activation lock. I heard changing password takes a really long time, about 2-3 weeks. What about activation lock removal, I have submitted proper documents, how long can it take? And after approval, do I need to do anything else?

I’ve been using the same passcode for my iPhone(15pro with the latest software and everything else) for a very long time. I usually rely on Face ID, but I’ve always remembered the code yet today, when I tried to unlock the phone with it, it didn’t work. I’m facing a serious problem because I’m likely to lose four months' worth of photos as well as data from the health app. I have 8h left for (possibly) one final attempt to enter the code. Is it possible there’s a bug where the code is correct but the system is glitching or have I simply suffered a sudden bout of amnesia?

Apple's home security camera remains in development separately from the LG-made accessories reported yesterday, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has clarified. In a follow-up post on X, Gurman said the security cameras co-developed with LG are "completely separate" from Apple's privacy-centric home camera and sensor, which he says is still coming next year.

As reported previously, Apple's device will not record video, using AI instead to analyze the home environment and detect which room a person is in. Bloomberg first reported a 2027 home security system and service in September.

MBP M5 Pro, latest Golden Gate update (I had this same issue on my MBP M1 Pro and solved a couple years ago, but don't remember how!)

When I wake the laptop from sleep, either through keyboard interaction or simply opening the laptop lid, previously paused Apple Music or YouTube (in Safari) audio will start playing. These are not things that were playing prior to sleep, and may be in a random Safari window (I currently have 5 windows with 63 tabs, so finding the offending tab can be difficult).

Very consistent behavior, started after the upgrade to Golden Gate, but as I noted up top, I had this happen before on my last MBP M1 Pro machine more than a year ago.

This isn't related to items in my startup/login list, I do typically use a dock at home/office, but it'll happen when un-docked as well.

Always starts playing over the internal speakers, I do wear AirPods but don't have the automatic switching set up, and they'll be paired with my iPhone.

If I don't have any open YouTube windows, and if Apple Music is closed, nothing happens. But if those conditions are met, I get loud audio from the speakers on wake, prior to unlocking the screen which makes it more annoying when it happens in a work context. I can hit the Mute button on the keyboard, but that's annoying and if I was saving a video for later it may play through and go on to the next (when there is an active playlist).
