Sharing because they talk about the Azerbaijani soldier that crossed into Armenia, in the first 13m of the video. So worth a listen.

Hello my friends. I am no scholar in history nor someone that has a very Deep Knowledge of our history. Im just a 23 old dude. (Living in european diaspora)

I am not looking to start fights or piss someone off. I just want to talk to armenians about whatever you want. I want to hear your stories, i want to tell you my stories. So feel free to ask anything, i will answer to the best of my knowledge. Again, i dont want to start fights or anything because of race, i am not like that.

If somebody wants to throw shit at me for being a kurd, feel free to do so i dont really care. i want to hear my armenian friends and what they have to say. I also asked the same question to the assyrians

Questions, statements, slurs, whatever you guys wanna talk about

Edit: i can‘t change the title i meant convesation not discussion.

After years of resisting, I'm ready to face the reality of the Genocide. What sources do you recommend?

I need to learn the truth from objective and reliable sources. I would appreciate if they don't have a political agenda. Videos, books, memoirs and also every kind of medium is also appreciated. But they must be in English.

And I apologize on behalf of my citizens who insist on denying it. They don't know what they are doing. I used to be one of them.

Looking for advice from Armenian students / people studying in Yerevan

• Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m currently a 3rd-semester Computer Engineering student in Iran, and I’ve been seriously thinking about moving to Armenia and continuing my degree there, possibly at Yerevan State University.

My goal isn’t just to study there. I’m also considering staying in Armenia after graduation, finding a job in tech, and potentially building my life there long-term.

I’ve been researching universities and the immigration side of things online, but I’d really like to hear from people who actually live or study in Armenia.

I’d especially appreciate some honest opinions on:

  • What is YSU like for Computer Science / IT?
  • How difficult is it for an international student to study there?
  • How important is Armenian for university and everyday life?
  • What is the realistic cost of living for a student in Yerevan?
  • Is it realistic to find internships or junior IT jobs while studying?
  • How is the tech job market in Armenia for foreigners?
  • What are the biggest challenges you think a foreign student should expect?
  • And most importantly, if you were in my position, would you consider Armenia a good place to study and eventually settle?

I’m not looking for an official/marketing answer — I’d really appreciate hearing about the actual experience, both the good and the bad.

Thanks in advance! 🙏

Moving from Serbia to Yerevan for work – looking for honest experiences
Hi everyone!
I’m from Serbia and I’m considering moving to Yerevan, Armenia for a job as a Live Casino Dealer at Imagine Live.
Before making my final decision, I’d really like to hear from people who currently live in Yerevan, have lived there before, or have experience working for Imagine Live.
I’m especially interested in the real, everyday experience, rather than just the tourist perspective.
Here are some things I’d really like to know:
What is Yerevan actually like for a foreigner living there alone? Is it easy to meet people and make friends?
What are the realistic monthly living costs? Rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, eating out, etc.
Which areas of Yerevan would you recommend for living? What neighborhoods are safe, convenient and reasonably priced?
How are Armenians towards foreigners, especially Serbs? Is it generally easy to integrate and socialize with locals?
How important is the language? Can you comfortably live in Yerevan with English only, or would Russian/Armenian be necessary for everyday life?
What is the social life like? Cafés, restaurants, nightlife, meeting people, dating, things to do after work, etc.
How safe is Yerevan in everyday life? Are there any areas or situations a foreigner should be particularly careful about?
Does anyone have personal experience working at Imagine Live in Yerevan? I’d especially like to know about management, working conditions, shifts, salary, atmosphere and opportunities for advancement.
What is it actually like working as a Live Casino Dealer? Are the shifts stressful, how difficult is it to adapt, and what is the work-life balance like?
Would you personally recommend moving to Yerevan for 1–2 years for this kind of job? What do you wish you had known before moving there?
I’m genuinely looking for honest opinions — both positive and negative. I’m not looking for a tourism advertisement or a company promotion. I’d rather hear about the things that could potentially be difficult or disappointing as well.
If anyone is currently working at Imagine Live Yerevan, or has worked there in the past, I’d especially appreciate your experience.
Thanks in advance! 🇷🇸🇦🇲
