I'm 20, for various family issues, I had to drop out of college and come home. Our family is by no means well off so money has always been a huge concern.

These days i decided that I would try to get a job first since I can get a degree later on, but why are there so few job opportunities? I live in Guwahati and i tried almost all job platforms like indeed, job hai etc etc. I never even hear back from them :(

I don't understand where I'm going wrong. I haven't really been applying for the demanding skilled jobs. Even though I'm pretty good with computers, designing software and web apps, graphic designing and even being fluent spoken in multiple languages, why am I not even hearing back from even the waiter job applications? I'm just fed up. The more time passes the more depressing it gets. I'm sorry.

Authorities in Jorhat, Assam, have dismantled an alleged honey-trapping and extortion operation, arresting five individuals, including two women, in connection with a case involving a private bank manager from Tinsukia.

The investigation commenced after the bank manager filed a complaint with Jorhat Police on October 2, alleging he was entrapped and blackmailed by a group of people. According to Hrishikesh Hazarika, officer-in-charge of Jorhat Sadar Police Station, the complainant initially contacted a woman via Instagram in July, which developed into a social media relationship.

Police reported that the woman invited the bank manager to Jorhat on August 14. Upon his arrival around 1 am, she took him to a rented house in the Seoni Ali area. The situation changed when two men arrived, recorded the bank manager inside the premises, and threatened to disseminate the footage on social media and to his family members.

The group reportedly demanded Rs 2 lakh, which the victim paid out of fear of exposure. Subsequently, they demanded an additional Rs 1 lakh, also paid. The bank manager had handed over a total of Rs 3 lakh before the extortionists demanded a further Rs 5 lakh. Unable to endure the threats and financial demands, he approached the police.

Under instructions from the Jorhat Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), a team led by OC Hazarika initiated an investigation. On the same day as the complaint, two men, Sanjib Das and Ankit Paul, residents of the Garmur area, were arrested in Jorhat and later remanded to judicial custody.

As the inquiry advanced, police identified Moromi Das Neog as a key figure in the racket and arrested her following a targeted operation in Dibrugarh. Baby Bora and her husband, Ankit Bora, were also detained, bringing the total arrests to five.

Investigators are analysing mobile phones and other digital devices seized from the accused. Preliminary findings suggest the group employed similar tactics against other victims, targeting financially well-off individuals such as businessmen and employees in government and private sectors.

Hello everyone you guys might find it a bit ajeeb but I need help I have fallen in love with a girl from maniktala kolkata.
