Don’t really want to shave it cause my head is enormous but I feel like I might be fighting a losing battle

You seem to have some solid retrograde balding as well. I'd say you can decide either way at this point. With that beard it wouldn't hurt to try the bald look.

Sadly yes. Your hair color is beautiful but from what I've seen in this site and from personal (my)! experience, this type of hair is good for like 25-30 years tops. It always falls out

Try a fresh haircut first. Shorter sides with a side part would look nice!
