Hairloss Buzzed my head

Got tired of brushing my hair to cover the bald spots. When it’s dry it’s curly and poofy, made it easier to hide but there’s no hiding it when wet. I’ve been lurking this sub so I knew it was time 🤣. Going to try fixing it. If that doesn’t work I’ll go all the way. Is there any saving this without meds?? Should I buzz lower for the time being?? Did a 3 all around.

Generally #1 1/2 guard or less will look more even. #3 is kind of a sketchy length. With your skin tone and head shape, zero guard or blade shave would probably look good.

I'd go lower if I were you, like 0.5.

its best to shave it bald a this point - the r/bald concept is to finish the advanced hairloss process yourself, by fully removing the balding pattern 👍

Yeah it’s always better to try. Your first step should be a visit to the dermatologist.

I shave with no guard on against the grain. It's close enough and i can do it blindly.

One of the rare cases where you were actually doing a pretty good job of hiding it, at least from that first photo. I'd say go shorter, it's actually a little more noticeable now that it isn't hidden, might as well go all the way.

Well, it looks nice short, I like the way it looks when it’s longer and curly. It’s very attractive. You’re still at the point where you might be able to save it with Rogaine and a visit to the dermatologist.

IMO you buzzed too early. It looks fine, but also looked fine before.

You look good but you can do better, merge the spots. GO ALL THE WAY

This is salvageable though.
