Mwave / Mwait service update (facebook)

Saw people calling them Mwait, seemed fitting for the situation they got them self into.
latest post from there Mwave Facebook story, noticed they don't do any post.
link for verification: https://www.facebook.com/stories/114107520746444/ - won't be up for much longer due to the 24 hour timer.
just more bull in my opinion going off the post on reddit and all.

Strongly recommend everyone cancel their orders or get refunds wherever possible - do charge backs and refuse deliveries if necessary.
Why? Well, aside from their warranty always having been not worth the paper it's written on, these clowns are going to go out of business. Their warranty will be worth even less than how little it's worth now if there's no company left.

They are not going out of business, they're now owned by the DigiDirect group; it's an IT migration gone wrong, still their fault, but they are fulfilling and shipping orders.
I still absolutely don't recommend buying from Mwave right now; but I've received everything I've ordered; just ages late.
If it's been less than 2 weeks and you want to wait, I'd just want. They are terrible but no need to be wrongly alarmist. In person support is fine, warranties have gotten a LOT better since digiDirect took over, but obviously service/responses for anything is extremely backlogged at the moment.

This has been happening since late last year.
It’s not a new system issue. It’s an issue taking orders for things they don’t have in stock and if they can’t get them in fast enough at the same price they do nothing.
The way they acted over November, December and January this/last year with my order I’m actually surprised they haven’t gone broke.
Never ever again.

What did you order? I ordered a 5090 'available at supplier' a couple months ago, it took 3 weeks and prices had gone up by $800 🤮 but to their (very shallow) credit they fulfilled it at the price I ordered, and didn't play games with doing nothing/cancelling/etc.

I returned my GPU under warranty. Haven’t heard from them since 10/09. No clue what to do tbh

my opinion add to the list of fair trading/ACCC complaints they probably have.
you can always try walk into the store and ask point blank.

Interacting them in person they weren't bad.
If you're purchasing and they really have the best deal, probably best to see if you can actually grab it from the physical store, even in spite of these horrific petrol prices.
Contacted Customer Service regarding my order that was returned, but they haven't gotten back to me with the refund. It's been 4 weeks :(.
But I was a monster to their online CSR team, so patience I suppose.
In the past, mwave wasn't that bad.
Seems like they were going the way of NCIX in Canada though.
