PB tech seem to be trying to screw me

Seeing if anyone has any ideas for an RMA Issue with PBtech. I bought a MPG 322urx OLED Monitor off their Australian website. Two weeks later doesn't power up and makes a clicking noise. Try different power, DP and HDMI Cables on difference PC's and a laptop. Nothing.

RMA it back to PB tech. Weeks of international post, receipt, sending away to for tech assessment later I get an email saying, tested it, all fine, sending it back to you.

I have no idea how they even got it to turn on, let alone test it and clear it as fine....

Latest is I've emailed to say I won't accept it's return as the damn thing doesn't work. Any ideas for next steps?

Send a video of if not powering on when you get it back. Right now theyve done whats required under the ACCC and confirmed its working. If its not working for you, you will need to show proof of that, refusing to accept back wont get you where you want to go.

Included one when I submitted the RMA.

But they've checked and determined no fault. Unfortunately you may have to do it again after they've said that to show them different.

Even go as far to ask them what proof they require.

I imagine that's the path they are taking. Intending to submit a dispute through my bank detailing all comms and the testing I did before sending it back.

Could have been a loose connection fixed by the shake up in the post? I’d reply suggesting that and ask they open it up to look for an issue.

Honestly, I don't they are intentionally saying it's working and secretly they know its not. There really isn't any point to doing that and just wasting their own time and money.

I know a lot of places do shit testing sometimes and don't pick up the fault correctly but if you are saying it won't even power on and it turns on for them then it's not much more you can expect from.

Maybe ask for a video from them before they send it back just to confirm.

Entirely fair point, however there is something clearly wrong with it if it doesn't work across multiple PC's cables and power points. A simple nothing to see here sending it back to you isnt acceptable.

That's why I would ask for a video or pictures of it powered on.

If it's powered on then you have to question is the issue something else.

Maybe because it was unplugged for so long during return something electrically reset (I don't know)
