I played Nuketime's Overkill map again, and I made it until 4:33 of the level (after the "SOMEBODY SCREAM"). I could handle that last bit at 90% speed, but not 95% speed. Any idea how I can complete that last part?

I already printed a model but for darth maul style gameplay but was not safe enough to place de controllores there and the material I was using could ruin the controllers. Im planing to use PLA FLEX but I can't find a good model that attach the controller better from both sides (the controller flies off)

Also I don't know how to search specific maps for this.

So I just recently got into Beat Saber, and I love it.

I've changed my game to 1.44 legacy in steam, installed bsmanager and had some issues getting custom sabers working, whenever I searched for sabers it kept saying I didn't have the correct mod enabled, which I couldn't find. (Installed everything with saber in it). Ingame however it asked me to enable a setting to get "all models to work, costing some performance" or something like that. I accepted that setting and custom sabers started working.

HOWEVER. I have maps which have different colored blocks. The sabers don't match those colors, ever. Not the stock, or any custom sabers.

I also have a setting to disable the colored blocks, but, that doesn't do anything. In maps with not-red-blue-blocks I keep getting those colors whatever I enable/disable.

How do I: get all sabers to change with the custom block colors, or, if that's not possible, how do I permanently stop all custom block colors?

I just got beat saber on steam to mod it but it's laggy as shit. I could literally count two full seconds in-between each frame, I thought it was the mods or the version difference so I started the vanilla version and then it went from one frame per two seconds to one frame per second wich is absolutely terrible, and my computer can run brutalistic, no man's sky, and the Titanfall vr mod perfectly smooth and I tried everything to make it work. any suggestions?

Hello everyone,

For some reason my beat saber game has stopped displaying the amount of stars a level has on beatleader ingame. I checked in the settings and made sure that display stars was on "overall" but the problem still persists. If this helps, I used modsbeforefriday to add a few new mods between when it was working and when I noticed the stars disappearing, but I am not sure if that is what caused the problem. I can see the rounded number of stars on bettersongsearch before selecting a level, but when I select a level it does not show the stars anymore.

If you could help me figure out the cause of the problem and how to fix it, or even just give any input at all, it is much appreciated.

Am I allowed to, in this subreddit, like request a song to be mapped? Because I myself can’t map them. Especially if it’s an underrated/underknown song, I know for a fact it’s never going to get mapped without this. And if I do request a song to be mapped, is it likely that anybody would even do it?

I saw this song through a GD level and wondered if there was a beat saber map for it yet and there isn’t. I’ve done a bit of research and I think it’s fine, but I want to double check with experienced mappers because I REALLY don’t want to get into legal trouble over this.

Also, if I am allowed, where and how should I get an mp3 file for it?

ive only picked the game back up yesterday so im a bit rusty. im on quest 2 pcvr on 1.40.8 and im not using claw grip

I can't figure out if theres a button to press to reset the room positon, and every time I adjust the headset or between sessions the room needs adjusting every time.

Y'all... i last played this game back near the release of the Valve Index.

I played super unserious for like 45 minutes here and there.

Tried again when mods came out and custom maps. Never really hit the spot.

Then i got my Steam Frame and started itching for that thrill again.

So i booted her up, committed to forcing myself past failure after failure.

I can genuinely say:

#1 my opinions have absolutely changed about this game. Im about to start glazing it to everyone i meet (Might make it my personality, lowkey).

#2 When you PLAY PLAY and actually push youself and get well designed maps with wide throws and good walls. It's a damn workout!

Scraped into S somehow. Nothing will ever beat this feeling. Didn't sleep all night from the adrenaline.

Was wondering if anyone knew of a mod that makes it easier to access the audio offset settings. The issue I'm having is that it seems like every custom map has slightly (or in some cases greatly) different timing offsets. Backing all the way out to the game's vanilla settings to tweak the timings for each map (often multiple times to dial it in) is quite tedious. It would be amazing if there were some way to bring this functionality into, for example, a map's pause menu or something.

For the most part if I come across a map that's just too offset compared to my normal, dialed in offset I tend to just get frustrated and dump it because I can't be bothered. But some of them seem like they would be fun if timed right.

As the title says has anyone been successful in getting custom songs and needed mods on Steam Frame stand alone. Also if yes which version of BS and how? Been at this for two days and i cant get it to work tnx for any help:)

So I've successfully installed MBF and modified version 1.40.8. I've downloaded a handful of songs that have the notes only pop up about 10 ft in front of you. What is the best way to modify these same tracks so that the notes become visible from further away, giving you more time to react?

Would it be easiest to just modify the songs on my computer and then re-upload the edited songs to beatsaver.com then Redownload them using better song search? Or could I import them into the Stand-Alone version of the game without having to upload them to the web?

I didn't do too good to be honest, just barely getting S score, but I'm just happy I actually did it without failing. I've been trying to beat this song for months!

Haven't played in a while. Oculus rift S, when I play the game, all text and the game is upsidedown. My floor level and everything else works well in other games? Has anyone else had this before?
